“I can use that card in this one too?” Nino asked with a tremor of excitement in his voice as he looked at the arcade that Satoshi had brought him to. It was bigger even than the one in the hotel and there was a sign on the wall telling him that there was a Laser Tag dungeon on the lower floor. He wasn’t completely sure what that meant but he was positive that he was going to enjoy it if he could play on it. As it was a school day there weren’t too many children milling around so most of the machines were ready and at their disposal and for Nino it was like having a semi private arcade to themselves.

“Yup, if you look on the back of the card it tells you the names of all the locations that you can use it” Satoshi answered with a grin and Nino positively hummed with excitement as he looked here and there wondering what he should go on first. In the hotel, he had spent most of his time on the grabbing machines but now he wanted to try out some of the exciting looking games. His eyes quickly wandered back to the sign for the Laser Tag as he asked;

“Even the laser tag thing?”

“I believe so but even if not I’m sure we could afford it if you wanted to play it” Satoshi informed him reassuringly and Nino smiled his cheeks burning with a little embarrassment as he remembered that his husband was a very wealthy man.

“I don’t even know what it is”

“I’ve never played it though I think you wear a breast plate each and you have to shoot at each other with toy guns. I think there is a point system but the easiest way to find out would be to play it” Satoshi took his hand and linked his fingers tugging him in the direction of the arrows before coming to an abrupt stop his hand tightening just a little.

“Satoshi? What’s wrong?” He breathed peering around the shoulder. Satoshi’s eyes were fixed on a man with three young children. He appeared to be quite handsome, with boyish floppy hair over one eye. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt stretched over a muscled chest. There was a smile on his face but for Nino it felt flat, as though it was fake and when the man turned to look at him he felt the hairs on the back of his neck crackle. The older children’s eyes bulged a little their mouths opening and closing as they gazed at Satoshi and Nino knew that this was Kiyoshi’s alpha and they were some of the children. “Sato…”

“Ohno Satoshi” The other alpha called loudly cutting over him. Although there was a smile on his face and Nino instinctively took a step backwards. Perhaps it was because of the things that he had heard about him but he couldn’t deny that the man gave him chills. There was something off about the children too. Even though they were in such a place as this there was no excitement in their faces two of which looked eerily like his husband and he could easily imagine his own children looking the same. His breath caught in his throat and he gripped Satoshi’s hand as the cold eyes of the other alpha swept over him. His smile became a smirk his eyes flashing with something close to anger and resentment. “And this is your bonded. Ninomiya. It is nice to see you again, Ninomiya”

“…Sir…” Nino forced out supposing that he had met the alpha at the same party he had met Kiyoshi. Satoshi was stiff holding his hand so tightly Nino was surprised that it hadn’t broken. This was the worst way to start their day out.
