Satoshi chuckled kissing him once on the cheek “It’s okay, I think that they needed some time alone”

“…I still don’t understand how it was possible that Masaki and Sho were connected the way they are” Nino frowned when he felt Satoshi tense and make a small noise as though he knew something. Nino rearranged himself on his lap and gripped his lover’s face so he was looking at him and he noticed that Satoshi couldn’t bring himself to look at him “Is there something that you know?”

“Sho told me something but I’m not sure how you’ll react if I told you” The vampire sighed and the werewolf moved himself until he felt Satoshi’s cock slip out of him. It was a strange feeling but not an unpleasant one. He grabbed what was left of his clothes and wiped his legs and bum before putting on the spare clothes that he had brought with him before saying;

“You’ll have to tell me and find out. Masaki is mine and if there is something that might hurt him”

“Not hurt him, at least I hope not…” Satoshi breathed and Nino felt his heart do a weird swooping in his chest realising that there really was something that his partner knew. Satoshi tried to give a reassuring smile saying “I doubt that it would change anything that you feel for your boy”

“You do realise that you’re not easing my worry, right?” He chuckled weakly kneeling down again and staring at the vampire. Satoshi gave him another smile and then reached over to take his hand. Their fingers linked tightly together and then the older man asked gently;

“Have you heard of homunculus?”

“The Homunculi? The soulless, they were a mistake…Empty shells of flesh…” Nino breathed not sure what this had to do with Masaki and then a cold feeling passed over him. His eyes bulged and his mouth fell open. A babble of nonsensical words spilled out and rang around the library before he breathed; “You…You think that Masaki. No…It’s not possible…”

“I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. Sho created him” Satoshi’s voice was so certain and without doubt that Nino knew that he had to accept it but it seemed all too improbable and there were a thousand and one thoughts and questions all dancing inside his mind.

“So why was he left wandering around in the wastes?” He hissed remembering the way his boy had come to him. Masaki with barely any clothes on, his face covered in a thick coating of dust and his little hands and feet cut to ribbons “Why…How? Masaki is perfect…”

“He is, he is perfect and as for the why…I like to believe that Sho was trying to help fix the mistakes that we all made, as for the how…I wish I could tell you but I don’t understand any of it myself” Satoshi whispered and Nino searched his eyes for a minute before recognising that he was telling the truth and he gave a small nod. “I do know that my brother in law used my DNA to create him, technically we could consider Masaki as my biological child as much as Rhian is”
