Six-year-old, Ohno Satoshi stood beside his mummy with his finger up his nose as she picked out cuts of steak. They had been at the shop for far longer than he would have liked and he was starting to grow bored. His feet were aching and his stomach was rumbling but his mummy was insisting that the best deals hadn’t been put out yet and they would be staying until they were. Other mummies and a few daddies were also circling the meat shop like sharks he had seen in his picture book at school and it was making his hungry tummy feel funny.

A cry near-by caused him to look up away from the shiny meat to a pushchair. Or more accurately the toddler that was in the pushchair. The toddler was wearing all an all Mickey Mouse outfit with even a hat with ears covering his small head. His cheeks were red and stained with tears and he appeared to have been trying to escape the confines of his pushchair. The pushchair came to a stop close by to him and the boy stopped bubbling to stare at him with a wide-eyed expression. Satoshi gave him a smile and then reached into the front pocket of his overalls to pull out a Tonka toy truck.

Greedy little hands reached out for it and Satoshi smiled even wider allowing the boy to have his truck. A pretty smile formed over the bright pink lips as he waved the toy around drool sliding down his chin over a cute mole as he babbled happily about Brum Brum cars.

Before he knew it, the pushchair was being rolled away taking the Micky Mouse boy and his car with it. His mummy would be upset that he had lost another car but Satoshi went back to picking his nose and hoping his mummy would hurry up.

Three-year-old, Ninomiya Kazunari hated going shopping with mummy. He wanted his dadda and to be at home with his sissy! He hated being strapped into the pushchair and the loud noises of people and he hated not being able to play with anything. His mummy took things out of his hand faster than he could pick them up and he wanted to play with the curly yellow thing! He gave a loud cry as they turned into another place that smelt funny. It was cold here and there were too many silly adults moving around.

Mummy almost knocked into some when they wouldn’t move out of the way! She was getting upset and Kazunari could feel it. He gave another cry and then stopped when he saw another little person like him. The boy was like his sissy! He was tall and not in a pushchair and he smiled at him when mummy pushed him towards him. His finger was in his nose but he was cute when he smiled.
The boy reached into his magical pocket and pulled out a car! It was amazing! The best trick ever and Kazunari giggled happily and reached out for the shiny plastic car happy when he was given it and he could play Brum Brum’s.

Too soon he was being pushed away from the boy but he was happy with his prize and he hoped that they could go home soon so he could play some more.
