 “…You know Masa” Sho sighed loudly and Nino couldn’t help but chuckle as he nodded “Urgh…Why did I ever agree to marry him?”
“Because you and Masaki are perfect for each other…” Nino answered even though he knew that it was just a mild rant because the beta was embarrassed. Masaki had that effect on his partner when he was being infuriating “Even when he was being a brat you’ve never looked at anybody but Masaki and you couldn’t even think about being with anyone else, even when he’s annoying?”

“…Besides all of that?” Sho hummed weakly giving him a little grin and Nino rolled his eyes a little saying;

“…Because he’s beautiful? And worshiped you even before he presented as an omega…”

“That’s true…I often think he willed himself into being an omega just so I would marry him…Foolish imp…You should take that coffee to your husband…” Sho motioned to the cup of coffee in his hand and Nino gave a nod nerves and excitement churning through him as he hummed;

“Sho-chan…What does an assistant do?”

“Mostly whatever’s required of them…Why?” Sho looked up at him with a brotherly look in his eyes and Nino swallowed a little resting his back against the counter staring down at the coffee and the swirls that it was still making from where he had stirred it. He liked being around Sho, the man was always calming and as nice as his husband was without the overly hyper shouting that could get annoying sometimes.

“Satoshi, he said that when I leave school I can be his assistant and work with him…I just wanted to know what I would have to do…” Nino couldn’t deny that he was nervous about working for Satoshi. He didn’t even know what an assistant would do and he knew that he was going to make ton of mistakes and he was terrified that Satoshi would get mad at him.

“Nino…Just be yourself okay? Satoshi will tell you what you have to do and if he doesn’t explain clearly then you can ask him…But honestly I think that you’ll be fine…”

“Because I’m an omega and I adapt…” Nino bit out bitterly and Sho shook his head turning around in his chair so he could grip his shoulders tightly and say;

“Not because you’re an omega…Or maybe it is…I will tell you what I told Masaki when he first presented…” Nino blinked in surprise at the force of the words but Sho was smiling gently “Omega are the most special, the most incredible of all of them…People fear you that’s why they try and control you…”

“Why would anybody be afraid of an omega? We are powerless…” Nino muttered thinking of how little that they were able to do.

“Yup…Because people have made it that way…Did you know that in the ancient times the power was passed from Omega to Omega?” Sho breathed and Nino had to shake his head. It wasn’t something that was taught at their school and it wasn’t something that he had ever heard anyone ever say “To have an omega partner was the ultimate symbol of power…Betas, Gammas and Alphas would all compete against each other to be deemed worthy of being with an Omega…The Omega bond has been corrupted so much in recent years and the omega forcibly weakened in recent years but one day everyone will realise just how incredible omega are again…”

“…You only think that because…”

“Because I know how lucky I am that Masaki wanted to be with me…Perhaps but I also know that without Masaki there to complete me, to comfort me, to push me…I wouldn’t be half the man I am…Your husband, he’s one of those that see it too…The power of the omega and I think that he will treasure you and wants to show you your true power…So go learn…Help him show the world why Omegas should be treasured…”

Sho is a good friend. I couldn't stay hidden if I was Ohno. I would do everything to take Nino in my arms and tell him how important he is >< it is so bad that most people think Omega are more or less powerless and probably even worthless >< I hope everything will change again.
