Satoshi had to admit that he was impressed and pleased that his pussycat had somebody so willing to fight for him the way that the young man next to him was. Matsumoto Jun was as attractive as he had been in the report and it was even more obvious now that Nino had a crush on his teacher stroke friend but didn’t know about it or how to process it. The boy looked haggard now and shrunken back into his chair. The ice cream was rapidly melting and Satoshi knew that he had to do something. His alpha instincts were trying to take over but there was no way that he was going to let them out now.
“Thank-you for being so concerned about my husband’s education…” He said his voice rather frostier than he would have liked but there was only so much he was going to take from a beta that was glaring at him “I can assure you that I agree completely…”
“Then why drag him out of class…?”
“…I asked him to come…” Nino whispered softly his voice barely audible but it was enough to stop Jun in his tracks. The hand that was still holding his was gaining in strength and Satoshi gave his husband a gentle smile that he hoped would be reassuring. “…I wanted to see him…And…Satoshi…Satoshi cares about my education…He even wants to give me a job when I finish school…”
“Really?” Jun asked his eyes flashing his disbelief and Satoshi straightened his back and looked at Nino with his smile still on his face as he gave a nod.
“Yes…Pussycat, will be my assistant, at least at first, but I rather hope that he will do whatever he wants to after he’s gotten some practical experience…” It wasn’t what he had planned on originally but it had struck him last night when he had been reading through a lot of mundane paperwork that Nino might not want to work for him. As an omega, it would be hard for him to get a job but he would support him and help him the best that he could. He wasn’t expecting Nino to look upset at his words and he was surprised at how clearly his husband spoke next;
“I want to work with you…You are the only person that wants to help Omegas…I mean…You’re the only person that is actively trying to help…”
“…You’re that…Ohno Satoshi…The judge?” Jun whispered himself now his voice almost squeaking as his eyes bulged. Satoshi wasn’t completely sure what the beta meant by ‘That Ohno Satoshi’ but he was used to people suddenly realising who he was. After his brother, had died he had thrown himself into changing things. It was hard, people didn’t want change, of course they didn’t, alphas, betas…They all got what was basically a slave when they married omega. Omega were hard wired to worship the ground their partners walked on and instead of treasuring them in return most took advantage of that and it didn’t help that even parents of the omega were complacent. Like his own parents. Nino’s father had been a decent parent…At least better than most omega fathers…Money had swayed him in the end but he hadn’t agreed straight away no matter what Nino thought.
“…Yes…Nice to meet you…”
“I always hoped that you would change things…But you still married an omega…” Jun said recovering from his surprise and Satoshi shrugged it was the same line that he had received at work, in board meetings and in the press. He had married an omega he was as bad as those he was trying to take down.
“…I did and I don’t regret it…Things haven’t changed as quickly as I would like them too…” He admitted knowing that it might have gone more smoothly if he hadn’t put in his offer for Nino but now, looking at his husband he was glad that his brother had forced him with his promise “But…I hope that I can at least make, my pussycats life a happy one…”

I am so happy for Nino to have such good friends <3 and Ohno as a lover. That's great. I hope Sho will help also
