krystalkatzficzAfter Satoshi’s talk about his brother and why he was holding off on sleeping with him Nino’s outlook on his husband changed drastically. Satoshi also changed becoming more relaxed with him showing his smile more throughout the meal than he had seen him smile before. Music started playing from an actual brass band and Nino was genuinely surprised when Satoshi wiped his mouth with his handkerchief and stood up saying;
“…The first dance at our wedding wasn’t very good, shall we make up for it now?”
“…I’m not very good…” Nino breathed even though he stood up and took his hand Satoshi gave a chuckle and tugged him into his body his lips ghosting very lightly over his cheek before pulling through the tables and up onto the dancefloor. He was spun around and then pulled up into his body. One arm wrapped around his waist and their fingers locked on the other. Nino swallowed nervously surprised at the way his own body flared at the nearness of his husband and that his mind now chose to make him remember what Satoshi had said about desiring physically.
“…Relax little pussycat…”
“Does that make you the owl?” Nino breathed back surprised when his body moved gracefully along with Satoshi’s in time with the music that was playing. The older man gave a laugh and spun him again before breathing;
“If you would like it to…”
“…I warn you I wouldn’t be very good on boats…Pea green or otherwise…I get seasick…” Nino grumbled wondering if Satoshi would have known that from the research that he had done on him. Satoshi gave a chuckle and pulled him back into him again so that they were moving more confidently with the music and their bodies were pressing against each other.
“Then you would be the green one…But even then, you would be cute…”
“…If you think sickly is cute…” Nino muttered trying to fight the awkward flush at the compliment and he quickly pressed his face into the older man’s shoulder. He allowed himself to breathing in as much of Satoshi’s scent as possible as his husband’s hand moved up his back, his fingers tangling with the soft locks on the back of his neck. They danced in the same position until the end of the third song and then they headed back to their table.
“Do you want dessert?” Satoshi asked motioning to the menu and Nino’s eyes were immediately pulled to a large sundae with honeycomb and chocolate sauce. “Those are my favourites too…Shall have one each?”
“Yes…Yes please…” Nino hummed and Satoshi summoned the waiter with a wave of his hand. While they were waiting for their desserts Nino looked around the amazing décor of the restaurant a happy buzz inside his stomach that he had danced with Satoshi and he didn’t think they’d made too much of a fool of themselves. “This has been amazing…The best night of my life…”
“...Nino…” Satoshi breathed reaching into his pocket and pulling out a large velveteen box. Nino knew that it had to be the bonding bracelets but his heart skipped anyway. “…I know that you’re already wearing my ring but, as I said before, the bracelets are far more traditional…” As he spoke Satoshi opened the box to reveal the bracelets inside. They were made of blue and yellow gold with each side being a solid colour before coming up to twist and join at the top making it almost look green in colour. It was beautiful and glinted in the lights of the restaurant. “…From my research, I found that your favourite colour was yellow…Mine is blue...I hope that you will wear it…”
“Yes…” Nino swallowed nervously watching as the smaller of the two bands was taken out of the box and then placed around his wrist. It fit perfectly against his skin and looked far better on him than his ring did.
