Nino shivered against his will as he was pulled against Satoshi’s body. His lips were almost immediately ghosting against his spot and Nino immediately relaxed going limp in the man’s arms. Satoshi’s tongue lapped at his spot and then closed his lips around suckling for a moment or two. His arms were so tight around him and he couldn’t stop himself from closing his eyes and enjoying the attention. He leaned against Satoshi’s chest listening to the increased heartbeat. The scent was growing stronger and he nuzzled his face into it, at least as much as he could do, and he breathed deep once again thinking about the person that had rescued him at the party.

“What are you thinking about?” Satoshi asked as he pulled away and Nino blinked at the voice whispering almost drunkenly;

“The owl and the pussycat…”

“Went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat…” Satoshi continued for him and Nino blinked slowly turning his face to look at his husband his breath catching in the back of his throat when he saw the warm, almost loving look that was in his eyes. There was something so breathing taking about the look even though he would never be able to explain it with words. It was something that he had never expected to see and he couldn’t deny that there was hope inside him again. He tried to swallow it down but it felt painful and he could feel the question burning on his tongue but the moment was lost when Satoshi’s eyes and face shifted again and he eased him gently out of his arms. “Come on…We should get to the restaurant…”

“I…Um…You…You know the poem?” Nino breathed shakily remembering what Satoshi had told him about speaking up when he wanted something. Satoshi stared at him for a moment looking a little torn before he shook sighed and blinked slowly his eyes turning away from him as he answered softly;

“…It’s a nonsense poem, by Edward Lear…It was my brother’s favourite, when we were children…”

“Brother…You…You have a brother?” Nino breathed searching his brain as he tried to remember if he had met a brother at their wedding but he was sure that there wasn’t. Satoshi tensed his hand coming up to grip at Nino’s shoulder as he whispered, his voice barely on the edge of hearing;

“…Had…I had a brother…A twin…he passed away four-years-ago…”

“I’m sorry…” Nino whispered in response and Satoshi inclined his head a little saying;

“Thank-you…We weren’t very close at the end but there was a time when he and I were very close…”

“Was…Was he an alpha like you?” Nino breathed his heart fluttering a little more rapidly wondering if it were possible that the nice man that had rescued him was Satoshi’s twin brother. It would be a strange coincidence and slowly Satoshi shook his head seeming to confirm it for him when he answered;

“…In identical twins, when one is an alpha and the other is an omega…” Nino breathed slowly through his nose excitement burning through him though he was sad that if this was true he would never meet his hero again “My brother was an omega…”

“I…I think that…That I met your brother once…When I was a child…He saved me and he was the one that told me the poem about the pussycat…He was nice…” Nino swallowed again as Satoshi’s hand tightened on his shoulder and he was surprised when he was pulled forward and a light kiss was placed on his forehead and a hand moved down his spine saying;

“He was…Come on Nino…Let’s get going…”
