Ohno made his beloved rest on a wagon with Phoenix and Mathias, who had been gently ordered not to ask too many questions, while he and the rest of the clan finished taking down he camp. It didn't take long. Every single member of the clan even the younglings knew their tasks and soon he was able to rejoin Nino and ask gently;

“How are you feeling now, beloved?”

“I'm still confused and tired, but I don't feel sick now…” Nino answered and Ohno gave him a smile taking his hand and pressing his fingers to his wrist. “Is it because of the lady? Is she why I am able to see visions? You said they were unclear…but what I saw was clear…”

“I know, beloved, and if you had not told me that you had spoken to your father I would have been surprised…” Satoshi said not feeling comfortable enough around the young human prince to mention Nino’s conversation with the lady. “but as it is we both know that you are different…your father also saw clear visions of you…it may be a family gift that otherwise went unknown until it was needed…”

“But even though it was clear…I still don't understand it…” Nino hummed looking miserable as he chewed on the corner of his mouth. Ohno could understand why he was so upset, the young half-blood wanted nothing more than to be useful to them and he was probably worried that even his visions of the future wouldn't help them.

“It was your first vision, beloved, and you saw two future outcomes of one event…” Satoshi consoled his lover the best that he could while Mathias tapped him playfully on the knee.

“See that's what I said…I don't understand this seer stuff but I know pretty damned well that you have to learn to walk before you run…sounds tough but you can do it, you've survived worse and made it through stronger for it…” the prince told Nino jovially and Ohno had to admit that he felt a new level of respect for the young human. Most people in his position would have been burning with curiosity and demanding answers but Mathias seemed to be wanting to cheer Nino up and the high king hoped that the dark future Nino saw for the young man never came to pass. “All you can do is learn, everything gets easier with practice…”

“Mathias…thank-you for everything that you have done for me…for talking to me that day in the kitchen and…and for not being able to conduct the trial…” Nino breathed his cheeks growing a warm pink before his eyes flashed with just a hint of the pearly white before he whispered “nuva leanathe vun lea bellanaris in mar arla evune inana tarsul mah ea banal…”

“I have no idea what you just said your grace but it was beautiful…” Mathias chuckled and Nino flushed again as his hand was kissed by the prince. “I should be heading home; it looks as though that you are ready to start travelling too so I bid you both a safe and pleasant journey…”

“And to you my prince…”
