Aiba part two

krystalkatzficz“That was fifteen years ago…” Nino mumbled as Jun let out a surprised grunt his hand coming to touch at his arm. Nino knew that he should have probably told Jun that there was a time when he had known the idol that he thought he had a crush on but there had never been the right time. Sho looked a little troubled and almost fidgety before he sighed and said;
“I know…But…He still talks about you…Would you be able to come and see him?”
“…My shift doesn’t finish for another three…”
“Go…It’s not as if we’re rushed off our feet…” Jun cut over him with a growl and Nino looked up at his…Lover/friends with benefits…Whatever the hell he was and saw a troubled expression in his eyes. Sho looked hopefully at him though and he gave a sigh not knowing how he would be able to help. He hadn’t seen Masaki since they were children after all. It was nice to know that Masaki talked about him. “We’ll talk, later right?”
“Don’t sound so scary…Please…” Nino breathed worried that his comfortable relationship with Jun might be receiving its last straw and Nino was sure that he didn’t want to lose that. Jun didn’t answer but just gave him a stare that was more unnerving than anything else. Before he could stop himself, he moved forward and pressed his lips to Jun’s. The other man wasn’t completely sure how to respond but he gave him a little kiss and then pushed him away saying;
“Not while we’re at work idiot, you are such a brat…”
“Fine…I’ll see you later and we’ll talk, right?” Nino mumbled swallowing as he tried to ignore the shocked expression that was now on Sho’s face. Jun gave a nod his expression a little softer now. “Okay…I’ll get changed and be out in a minute…”
“Right…Okay…” Sho breathed with a nod and Nino hurried out to the back again leaving the brush against the counter. Once in the changing room he stripped out of his work uniform and then pulled on his black jeans, and a t-shirt that was slightly too big. It was one of Jun’s that he had pulled on that morning and he smiled just a little as he smoothed it down around his body. He couldn’t believe that he would soon be seeing Masaki again. He wished that it could have been under better circumstances but he supposed given how different their lives were now that was impossible. He fixed his hair and then placed the black leather and silver studied wrist band that Jun had brought him at the last concert they had gone to. It had their initials wrapped around with silver and he supposed that it was this wrist band that had been the start of the breakdown of their comfortable relationship and when Jun had wanted more.
He let out a sigh and then fastened it securely around his wrist before taking his bag and heading back out into the main area. Jun was sweeping the floors and Sho was still waiting for him at the counter. He straightened up as he saw him and Nino managed to give a weak smile and a nod before looking at Jun who had stopped what he was doing to look at him with an unreadable expression on his face. He gave him a smile and raised in hand in a wave which wasn’t returned. He sighed again and then followed Sho out of the building.
“I didn’t mean to cause you problems between you and your boyfriend…” Sho said taking him to the car park on the side of the building and Nino gave another little sigh and then a roll of his shoulders as he muttered;
“The problems were already there before you came…Um…May I ask…How you met Masaki? You don’t seem to be…In that world…”
“I’m not…I work in the city…As a finance manager, I met Ma-chan through work…He wanted to invest his money and I was the one assigned to him…We hit it off…” Sho hummed with a smile and Nino realised that it wasn’t just fooling around and the other man was in love with Masaki. “Ma-chan was adorably stupid…”
“That’s a nice way to describe someone…You sound like Jun…” Nino sighed his mind going back to his own lover. Sho let out a noise that sounded almost like a laugh as he unlocked his car. A sleek dark red Mercedes with seemed to be a convertible was in front of him and Nino felt almost giddy when he slipped inside onto smooth warm leather seats. “Wow…This is nice…”
“Company car…” Sho said with a shrug and Nino wished that he could say the same with his job but he and Jun barely made enough between them to get an apartment. If it weren’t for the extra cash Jun’s parents gave their 2DLK would be out of their price range. In reality, a 1DLK would have been enough but that would have probably given them an idea that they were more than simple roommates.
“Nice…” He said allowed as Sho turned on the ignition and pulled out onto the thankfully almost empty road. “How did you find me?”
“Ma-chan found you…A few years ago…But thought it might be weird or course problems if he showed up out of the blue…” Sho explained and Nino swallowed again turning to look out of the window watching the enclosed buildings become more enclosed as they drove through the main area of town before fading out again. He wasn’t sure how long they drove but he did know that he was in an area of town that he had never been in before. It was filled with lighter coloured apartment buildings which looked more expensive than anything that he had ever seen before. “So…You and Ma-chan…Were friends?”
“A long time ago…” Nino agreed with a nod chewing on his lower lip “We grew up together…”
“Yeah…Ma-chan said you were like brothers…” Sho hummed and again Nino gave a nod and a weak smile tapping his hand against his knee and looking down at the wrist band which had JM proudly displayed in a network of worked silver roses and stars with KN on the other side. The name Billy Talent was also intertwined with it as it was them who had brought them together.
“I guess…”
“Your boyfriend seemed to be in a bad mood…” Sho pointed out delicately and Nino gave a laugh saying somewhat automatically;
“He’s not my boyfriend…He’s a guy I sleep with…And he’s almost always angry…”
“Ah…Okay…” Sho whistled and Nino gave him an awkward grin bringing his hand up to run it through his hair as he said slowly;
“Can I ask what you’re hoping to get out of this? I mean me coming to talk to Masaki?” Sho looked a little confused and thoughtful as he chewed hard on his tongue and Nino tried to bring his point home by saying “…I mean we were best friends but that was back when he was 12 and I was 11 we haven’t even spoke to each other since then and I imagine that we’re completely different people to how we were back then…”
“I just want…I dunno…Maybe...I guess it’s actually pretty stupid…” Sho admitted and Nino had to nod with agreement “But I’ve never seen Ma-chan so down…His company is trying to do damage control but…There isn’t much that they can do…The pictures are pretty self-evident…”
“How could you have been so stupid to get caught?” Nino asked knowing that his words sounded harsh but surely the man who seemed to be so clever could have made sure that they weren’t caught. Surprisingly Sho didn’t look offended by his question but upset saying slowly;
“…The person who sold the pictures was somebody that we considered a friend…We didn’t expect them to sell pictures…That’s another reason that I think you would be good for Ma-chan…I think he could use a friend…”
“You’re actually not that smart I could have completely changed since being a kid and could easily sell my own story…” Nino sighed knowing that he wouldn’t ever do that. Sho shot him a quick look and then let out a heavy sigh saying;
“I guess after the stories Ma-chan told me I supposed that you wouldn’t, from what he said you and he were like brothers…And if things had been different you might have ended up dating…”
