krystalkatzficz“The company said he looked like an insect…” Toma snorted around a glass of wine and Nino turned to look up at him as he tried to fight down the rush of embarrassment that was now standing his cheeks. His happiness at his friends offer of being a deflection had faded about seven or eight embarrassing stories ago and he was wishing that he was sat in Nino’s apartment again wearing his sister’s trousers. Nino’s lips twisted into a frown as one eyebrow lifted up his forehead as he hummed softly;
“I don’t see the comparison…”
“I was smaller back then…” Jun mumbled with a shrug and Nino gave a nod sipping at his own wine before reaching under the table so he could innocently stroke at his leg saying;
“I know I’ve been a fan for a long time…You were adorable as a kid…”
“Aww you’re no fun Nino-san! You’re meant to enjoy the embarrassing stories…” Toma pouted playfully while Jun tried hard not to preen too much under Nino’s compliment “So…Are you a fan club member?”
“…I am…” Nino answered his cheeks going a very bright pink now as his hand slipped away and Jun caught it with his own linking their fingers surprised that they actually fit comfortably against his. “I’ve been to three of your concerts including Hawaii…”
“Eh?! No way…” Jun blinked in amazement trying hard to picture Nino in the sun, any kind of sun much less the scorching temperatures that Hawaii had reached was almost impossible. He was a strictly Vampiric beauty which seemed more suited for colder climates but he was desperate to see him in a grass skirt and a lei for some reason. Nino looked delighted that he had stunned them as he took some of the sirloin beef and popped it into his mouth before grinning and answering;
“Yup…Me and my sister both went…And our mum...It was fun…The first day we went to the concert the second we listened from the beach…You were great…I got sun stroke though so I’m kind of glad that you don’t go there every year…”
“…Wow Nino truly is a fan of us ne? Has Jun told you that he’s been to all three of your big live shows…He’s always disappointed that you don’t pick him for your magic tricks…” Satoshi smiled in a way that suggested that he was trying to help but appeared to be wanting to embarrass him as much as Toma was trying. It was try that he had attended the three live shows that Nino had put on last year but he had always been too afraid of being recognised to put his hand up when Nino asked for volunteers. “He’s jealous that Masaki gets to go on your show so often…”
“…I think it’s cause he’s on the same network as me…” Nino hummed a little his thumb moving over Jun’s hand reminding him that they were still holding hands and that the other two was bound to have noticed but were choosing not to say anything. It appeared that there was a limit on how far they were going to go to embarrass them. “I mean for Aiba Manabu…I’m going on that next week…”
“Masaki hasn’t said anything about that…” Toma said for him and Nino gave a small shrug saying softly;
“…I’m a mystery guest…They want me to be dressed as a geisha…” Jun couldn’t stop the moan that escaped his mouth as he pictured that. Nino dressed in lose folds of silk that were slipping away from his shoulders and he flushed hotly when Toma gave a snort of laughter and Satoshi shot him a somewhat sympathetic look. Nino looked a little embarrassed himself admitting “Surprisingly it’s not a style I’ve worn before…”
“…Judging from Jun’s reaction I don’t think you have too much to worry about…” Toma snorted with more laughter and Jun tried to kick him under the table but missed and ended up getting Satoshi on the shin instead. Arashi’s leader wasn’t expecting the kick and stared at him with wide eyes and for a horrible moment Jun was convinced the older man was going to cry instead he swore loudly and then kicked back managing to get Nino’s legs instead of his. Nino flinched and then gasped jerking away so hard that it knocked into Jun’s chair and they before they knew it they found themselves toppling over and crashing onto the floor in a tangle of limbs and expensive wood. The crash was loud, loud enough to bring their server to come in and check that everything was okay and Jun was mortified that she found them with Nino laid on top of him his slim legs on either side of his body and his mustard coloured t-shirt having slipped down over his shoulder and showing skin in a way that he had been dreaming about earlier.
“Sorry…A mild accident…” Satoshi smiled as though it was the most normal thing in the world “We would like the dessert menu…”
