Just as he was about to tell his friend that she better clean-up his phone rang and he pulled it out surprised to see Satoshi’s name on the screen. He was almost too angry to press the accept call button but that would just feel like cutting his nose off to spite his face so he pressed it and brought it up to his ear.

“Hello? Ninomiya Kazunari speaking…” He said as coldly as he could manage before walking to his own bedroom that he never really used for anything but an office preferring to sleep with Masako he supposed that if Sho stayed tonight he would be regulated into here. Satoshi sucked in a sharp breath before humming;

“What do you think?” Nino spat down the phone throwing himself down onto the bed that gave an irritating puff of dust which almost choked him and he knew that he would have to air out the bedroom the best that he could before he slept in here tonight.

“That you’re very mad with me…I’m sorry, but I’m not going to let you hand in your badge over me…We can wait, we have the why and the who…We just need to get them…” Satoshi told him and Nino wanted to agree and nod. It was the truth and he knew in his heart that it wouldn’t be long before they got them but that wasn’t the only reason that he was angry.

“That isn’t the point! I’m an adult I can make the right choices for myself I don’t need or want you making them for me!” He huffed getting up from the bed and throwing open the window. “Matsumoto has been up my arse since the moment I joined…”

“Of course he is…He wants you to apply yourself more…I mean he doesn’t have to be such a dick about it but unfortunately that’s the way he does things…You are a capable police officer little fish one day you’ll have his job…I just don’t want you screwing that up for me…I’m not worth it…So we wait it out…”
