krystalkatzficz“I think that we should let Masaki and Jun take care of the twins for a few days…” Nino breathed as he lay on Satoshi’s chest playing around with his nipple and breathing through his nose sharply and Satoshi stiffened for just a moment or two and then relaxed nodding at his plan. Three days of just them with no pride and not little cubs to take care of sounded better than anything right now. He closed his eyes a little and let Satoshi press little kisses to his forehead. “What do you think?”
“I think that like most of your plans its ingenious but I think that we should finish the tale first…” Satoshi chuckled and Nino was positive that he pouted more than either of his babies could manage the promise of a hot and sexy adult time slipping away from him before he could even grasp it properly. Why couldn't Satoshi see that he needed him? As much as he loved being sub-daddy he wanted to be hot again. They hadn't had any seriously great sex since he had managed to rip two wriggling Cubs out of him. He wanted to feel hot and have Satoshi say that he was hot.
“But we’ve almost finished there really isn’t all that much to tell anymore…You behaved like a perfect gentleman to me and then we fell in love the end…” Nino coaxed as gently as he deciding that even if he did love his twins deeply and he was incredibly grateful that he had finally fallen in love with the King of the pride, the story was far from being exciting any more. There wasn’t that much left to tell.
“That wasn’t all…If you remember I rescued you from those hunters…” Satoshi reminded him and Nino very nearly rolled his eyes unable to believe that he had somewhat forgotten about the poachers. It was something that should have been difficult to forget and it wasn’t long after they had gone to the village but it had been terrifying for him.
“The babies don't need to know about that…” He huffed quietly somehow knowing that Satoshi would let it rest until the story was told right.
“We do! We wanna hear daddy!” Twin voices exclaimed as the sheet that served as a door was pushed aside and they came in looking excited. Or at least Taka looked excited while Kazu was a little more hesitant hanging back and staring at them with his big doll like eyes and a pouty expression that Nino had seen on his own face more than once. Sighing he knew when he was beaten and he patted the bed between him and his mate hoping that they hadn't heard all of what had passed between them. Satoshi didn't seem in the least bit bother by the intrusion and gave a laugh as the twins joined them on the bed. Letting out a sigh and giving a weak smile of his own he hugged Taka to his chest while Satoshi took charge of Kazu and it wasn't long before Satoshi was telling the story.

They had spent a week in the forest getting to know each other as humans and as lions and Satoshi knew from the bottom of his heart that there was nobody else that he would have wanted for his mate. Nino was feisty and yet submissive. He didn't give in straight away though he questioned his judgement making sure that it was the best choice before going along with it. It helped that Nino was also bright and amusing when he wasn’t scowling at him which was thankfully happening less and less lately, something else that Satoshi was grateful for. By the time they actually reached the village Satoshi was sure that he would manage to get Nino to fall in love with him by the time they got home.
For his own part it was strange for him to feel so relaxed around another person. He loved his family, his pride, but they had always known him as prince and then king. There had never been any moment where he had been anything else to them. With Nino it wasn’t like that and he was finding himself showing more of himself than he had ever thought possible. He laughed more around Nino something that even his Queen had remarked on saying that he actually liked his smile and the sound of his laugh and as such it had made Satoshi do it more often.
“What do we need?” Nino asked when they were back in their human forms and properly dressed and Satoshi had to search his brain before remembering that he wanted nails and more tools. He enjoyed having his pride around him but now that he had a queen he wanted his own space and that meant hurrying up and building more houses. Sho was actually a great blacksmith given the chance but they had no furnace. Something else that they would have to rectify when they had the chance.
“We need to go to the blacksmiths…”
“Oh…Um…I should go to the priest here…And tell them…Tell them something…” Nino muttered and Satoshi gave a nod watching his mate go not knowing that there were two other pairs of eyes watching his retreating back.
