“Anything?” Ohno asked his second and sister when he saw them three hours later. Nino had fallen asleep again after their love making and as much as he would have enjoyed laying down beside him and watching him sleep he needed to do something. He was becoming uneasy with the peace from his parents’ pack. There was also the confusion about Nino and if there was anything that might crop up or be unexpected.

“There wasn’t much information, we copied what there was…But…We weren’t the first people to go to the archive and ask about Alpha-Omegas…Another couple were there this week…” Jun answered his eyebrows seeming to wiggle around his face as though they were trying to give him some hints on who it could possibly be and Ohno sighed knowing that it had to be somebody linked to his parents. It was too strange to be coincidence. It was frustrating to think that his parents were already one step ahead of them.

“Did you get a name?”

“No…Sorry Nii-chan…They didn’t give their names…But then again neither did we…” Sango hummed pulling a few papers from her bag and handing them over. Most seemed to be print out from old scrolls with faded writing that was barely legible, at least to him anyway and he chewed hard on his lower lip guessing that he was going to be having a headache for his trouble “…Here are the copies…From what I read it’s likely that Nino is an alpha-omega…”

“Really? So there was some information on them?” Ohno hummed looking at the words on the page again as Jun nodded his arm casually slung around Sango’s shoulders holding her into his body as he hummed;

“Yes and as far as I can tell he has all the signs that are described…They appear to be more fragile than they are as it’s a defence…The less they seem to be able to defend themselves the more likely alpha and betas are to protect them...” Ohno had to agree with that thinking of the delicate features that Nino had as both a human and a wolf. His pale almost translucent skin, his soft pink lips which were all off set by the darkness of his hair. He was slightly taller than he was but he held himself like somebody smaller giving anyone that looked at him an almost cute feeling. It carried on into his wolf form also with the features that made him physically smaller and cuter than a true wolf form. “

“The cute helplessness thing is just an act though…It like the way they control us…Sort of like you and your alpha-ness they have this…And it…It manipulates us…Sort of…At least that’s the way that it’s described…”

“You were unaffected by that though when you first met Nino as they only give out the pheromone when they are claimed and pregnant…And they rarely affect their partners…” Jun hummed and Ohno was glad knowing that Nino would think something stupid like he was only attracted to him because of that.

“Is it because he’s scared?”

“No…It’s just something that they have…It’s their defence…They can’t turn it off and on…He’s trying to protect his son and it will happen each time he becomes pregnant…As the baby grows the more intense that feeling to protect will become that Gammas will feel it to…” Sango said pulling out one on the papers which was a painting of a man sitting with a baby and a spiral of cloud was circling around him. Wolves were all bowing to the boy and Ohno chewed on his lip guessing that this was an artist’s rendition of an Alpha-omega “…Other than that there isn’t anything else that we can tell you...I mean we just skimmed through it so if you look you might see more…”

“Thank-you…” He smiled slowly flipping through the pages with his thumb before deciding to go into his office and read through them. He was disappointed that they didn’t seem to be any closer to knowing anything though there was always a chance that there was something that they had missed.
