Kazu stared up at the decorated canopy above his head his breathing ragged and harsh as his chest rose and fell sharply. His body was still tingling with the aftermath of his orgasm and there were little prickles of tears in his eyes. Jun was in a similar position beside him and there was so much that he wanted to be able to say but was unable and he just allowed the tremors to ripple through him as he moaned and whined a little as his overly sensitive penis was brushing against the fabric of his shirt.
“Was that okay my husband?” Jun asked softly against his ear and Kazu was surprised that the man had turned to look at him. He a managed to roll onto his own side and nodded the best that he could his cheeks stained a bright pink. He bit hard on his lower lip and looked out at his husband through lowered lashes.
“It…Was more than I ever expected…”
“That was just the beginning my little love…There is more that I want to show you...But only when you’re ready….” Jun told him his lips finding his shoulder blade and Kazu gave a small smile his body trembling with the idea of more. Jun moved away again and then took one of his hands in his own threading their fingers a little as he said sadly “This should have been our wedding night my litte love, I should have made the night perfect for you but instead…I made it what it was…I can never change the past Kazu but I will make sure that our future together is a happy one…”
“I know…I trust you my husband...It is already midnight…” He said looking at the clock with decorated the wall before climbing out of the bed and going to his own. Jun had helped him to hide his gift in the mattresses and he pulled it out now. The box was carefully wrapped in silk and finished with a pretty bow and he carried it to Jun’s bed and set it down next to his husband. “This is the only gift that I can give to you, husband…I hope that you will like it…”
“I’m sure that I will…” Jun promised lightly pulling at the ribbon to it slid away from the rest and allowed the silk covering to slip away from the beautiful box. Jun fingered it for a moment and with a smile on his face before he unhooked the catch and brought out the promise knot. He looked confused and Kazu smiled taking the chain from around his neck whispering;
“Love is never smooth, nor straight like a line, it has twists, turns, ups, and downs, but like this knot you see before you…it is eternal with no beginning and no end...This is a promise knot my husband in the north people give it to their partners the night before their marriage to show that no matter the hardships they may face they know that they will go through them together…Already our marriage has had difficulties my husband and blame may be found on both sides for that but please…Never believe that I regret our marriage now that I have come to know the true you…”
“Kazu…After all that I have done to you…That you would give me such a thing…I promise you that I will love you for the rest of my life and although their maybe continuing difficulties in our marriage I will try never to be the cause of them and I will tell you how much I love and care for you each day…” Jun breathed his eyes shining with so much sincerity that Kazu couldn’t help but flush as he moved forward and claimed the man’s lips in a passionate kiss his hands moving around his body.
“May I share your bed again tonight?” He asked shyly when the kiss broke and Jun looked touched by the words stroking his cheek as he whispered;
“If you wish it…”
“I do…”
“Then I am glad…”
