Masako smiled at Sho through the mirror as he played around with her long hair. He had asked if he could brush and braid it but so far he had just touched and played with it through his fingers. She couldn’t believe it when she had answered a knock on her door and found Sho standing there with a bunch of picked flowers and some pastries from the local bakery but she couldn’t deny that she was happy about it. She had thought she was dreaming that morning when Sho had told her that he wanted to date her but they would have to be secret about. Or if not dreaming then coming to get a letter or email saying sorry but it’s too risky but here he was in her apartment on her sofa with her trapped between his legs and him playing around with her hair.
Her hair was something that she was very proud of as she had grown it since being a young girl after hearing her mother say that she had always wanted long hair. It was a hassle and sometimes she thought that it would be easier if she just cut it but at that moment she was very happy that she had it and that somebody like Sakurai Sho seemed to be content to sit there playing with it by wrapping it tightly around his finger. The idol hadn’t spoken much since asking if he could brush her hair and when he did speak it caused her to jolt in surprise.
“Have you ever been scouted…To be a model?” He asked and Masaki gave a chuckle leaning her chin to rest it on her knees as she gave a nod and hummed;
“Um…When I was in high school! I even did some photoshoots but…It wasn’t the life I wanted…”
“Why? You would have been amazing…”
“Nino says I already am amazing…When he’s in his better moods!” She teased throwing the idol a look over her shoulder flushing when she noticed the very obvious tent in his trousers.
“That…That isn’t what I meant…You are incredible…I just mean…”
“…I’ve always been pretty…” She said as a matter of fact. It was a universal truth that she had known but thought very little about. She hadn’t asked to be born pretty it was just something that she was born with like the colour of her eyes or the shape of her nose. “As a child…As a teenager…Everybody always said…Oh you won’t have to work will you? And I bet you’ll have all the guys chasing you…It’s not true by the way! People always seem frightened when I even look at them! But…I...I wanted to be more than what I look like...When they said that they never seemed to think that I would want to work…I did but…Nobody ever took me seriously…Even at the police academy they…The only person that took me seriously was Nino…He never talked behind my back or made jokes about me being a stripper…I don’t mind jokes! Nino makes them all the time and teases me but I’m in on the joke…I wanted to be more than a face…Is that silly?”
“No…I admire you for it…I never wanted to be an idol…I wanted to go into politics like my dad but I as a joke I tried out and I was accepted…I told myself that I would just do it for a year and then two…Until it was all that I was doing...I haven’t done anything meaningful…”
“You have! You did that show ne…The one about wild birds and what to do when you find a baby! More birds are coming in and we are saving more because of you! People tell me all the time…I saw it on Sho-chan’s show…!” Masako told him with a bright grin “It is meaningful to them...And me! So don’t think that ne!”
“…Thank-you…” Sho whispered moving forward and capturing her lips and Masako smiled before closing her eyes and allowing herself to be swept along.

And i laught a lot when Masako said the she has been pretty to herself xD
so this is their first "date" after sleeping together? Has Masako spoke to Nino about what happened???
