It was raining when Masaki and Sho finally got into Cardiff airport and strangely enough Masaki had been expecting it. It had been almost a tradition for him and Shu to arrive at a place and be met with rain but then they would have almost scorching temperatures and he hoped that that would be the case this time but all he wanted not was to curl up and sleep. He hadn’t managed to get any sleep on the plane, even with the comfortable seats of first class as excitement had been bubbling away under his skin. He had marvelled that Sho could sleep so easily but he supposed that the older man was used it the way that Shu had been. He had been happy though that when he had woken up again he had played a game with him and then read to him in a low voice. He had been completely delighted to learn that Sho was also reading his way through the Discworld collection like he had been doing with Shu and together they read through a few chapters of Guards! Guards!

“We’ll get to the hotel as quickly as possible and let you get some sleep, ne?” Sho hummed lifting up an umbrella over their heads and Masaki nodded with a strained smile preparing himself to run for the taxi that was in front of him. Everything was murky and blurred with the rain but it didn’t dull any of his feelings of excitement even as he nearly slipped on the wet floor. Sho allowed himself to get wet as he opened up the door of the taxi and motioned for Masaki to get inside. Sho helped the driver with their bags and then settled inside beside him. Masaki stifled a yawn with his hand as the other man spoke in English giving the name of the hotel that they would be staying in for the next two nights as they headed to the doctor experience before heading out into the more rural areas of Wales.

Masaki was almost asleep by the time they pulled up outside of a sleek professional looking hotel. It wasn’t very pretty nor was it in a great location but it was serviceable for the airport and it was only a fifteen-minute walk to the experience. He swayed on his feet as Sho spoke to the receptionist and was given two key cards that would not only allow them to get into their rooms but also the actual floors of the hotel. He yawned again as Sho’s hand came up around his back and guided him to the elevator and he had problems with the world seeming to sway back and forth and he barely heard Sho when he was talking to him saying;

“You’re in the room across the hall from me…If you need anything just knock, otherwise I’ll see you after you’ve had some sleep…”
“Humm…See you later, Sho-chan…” Masaki sighed yawning again before stumbling into the room barely registering the décor or the fixtures as he stumbled forward and dropped like a stone into his bed. He was out like a light within a few moments.

Sho chuckled at the reaction of the younger man who had left before taking his key card or luggage. Shaking his head, he followed into the room after him smiling as he saw him flaked out on the bed still dressed in his wet clothes. His breathing was even and soft indicating that he was already asleep and Sho carefully removed the coat and shoes before turning him around on the bed and resting him into the pillows his heart skipping at the sight of Masaki’s face. It took an inhuman effort for him to turn on his heel and walk away without kissing him knowing that if they ever did kiss he would want Masaki awake and responding.
