krystalkatzficz"You have to drain his blood…Every last drop of it…” Jun told him when they had gotten Nino back to their apartment and Ohno was genuinely angry that his friend was being completely clinical and calm while he was going completely crazy. Everything felt hazy and his senses were dulled to the point of almost sluggishness. Nino was so still and so pale that he looked completely dead and he was almost convinced that he was the cause of it. “Satoshi, he is still alive and we can still save him but he won't be for long and the longer you wait the less chance we have…”
“Ri-right…Wha-what…” Ohno spluttered blinking as he pulled his gaze away from Nino’s seemingly lifeless body wondering how only a few hours ago Nino was waltzing with him under the moonlight and was now laid there with his eyes closed and his lips parted in a slack jawed expression. His eyes were glazed over under partially closed lids and his chest was barely moving as breathed and if it wasn’t for his hypersensitive hearing he wouldn’t have been able to hear the soft heartbeat which indicated that he was still alive “What do…what do you need me to do?”
“I told you before that you have to drain him…completely…” Jun explained softly motioning over to Masaki who was playing around with something that was behind him and Ohno clenched his fists so tightly that he heard his bones shatter and then heal “Given his present state it shouldn't take too long…After that I will sort you out…”
“Okay…Don’t let him, die…I don’t care about me but don’t let him die…” Ohno growled to his friend before moving to the bed and taking Nino’s hand very carefully noting that there was no reaction from his little lover even when a bite mark around his wrist opened up and more blood flowed free. “You can’t die on me, my little human…I need you so much…” He breathed before pressing a kiss to the sweet lips and then moving down over his mole to the place on his neck.
It was the spot that he always bit, strangely it was one of the few wounds that hadn’t opened up again and he kissed it lightly before allowing his teeth to elongate and then bite into the soft smooth skin. He closed his eyes as blood burst forth and he tried hard not to react when there was no reaction from Nino. Ordinarily his lover would react and gasp his body arching up against him but today the human just lay in the bed as still as the dead as Ohno drank from him. The blood had a sour tang to it, not like the sweetness he normally had and it took a great effort for Ohno to remain at the neck and swallow it down.
“Keep going…I know that it tastes awful…” Jun said sounding as though he was faraway and the sad taint told him that the reason that it tasted this was because Nino was dying and his blood was tainted with death. It would also explain why vampires could die from the change, dead blood was poison to them and already his body was reacting. Near painful prickles spreading out from his chest to move down his legs and his arms while something like sweat collected on his brow. Nino’s heart was pumping painfully fast now desperately trying to replace the blood that was flowing from the open wound but it was no good and eventually it jerked and jolted and then stopped and Ohno drank down what was left of the blood until he felt Jun’s hands grabbing at him pulling him away. “We have to move quickly before the brain dies…”
