“How are you feeling?” Ohno whispered gently when he saw Nino opening his eyes. He wasn't pale anymore which was a relief but he was positive that there were still shadows in the young prince’s eyes and he knew that just words alone will never be able to smooth them away but he could never do anything physical. They were trapped in a limbo with their emotions for each other and always would be. The prince would marry a good girl of his family's choosing and he would be sent to the depths of hell perhaps caring for Nino's children. It would be kinder on himself to leave now and never come back but he couldn't do that, he had promised Nino that he would never leave him and even if it did hurt him it was better to stay by his side where he could see him than to leave and never see him again.
“My headache’s gone…” Nino shrugged slowly and weakly not really answering his question but Ohno supposed that his prince was in a similar state to him. He was extremely tempted to move forward and kiss Nino's soft looking pink shell coloured lips but he knew that that wasn't possible they had done more than they should already. Last night he had been weak but that had to stop, if he was to stay with Nino then he had to learn to hide his feelings better. “You even kiss me again will you?”
“I can't…one kiss will lead to many” Ohno pointed out needlessly knowing that he personally wouldn’t be able to stop at just one “I’m afraid that we have to learn to hide our feelings better or I won't be able to stay with you…”
“Even when I’m married to Erika…” Nino nodded sagely causing a flicker of pain at the casual mention of Toda Erika. She seemed to be the most likely candidate for Nino’s future wife and, if Ohno was perfectly honest with himself, she wasn’t as bad as the other air heads that the palace attracted. Knowing that didn’t make it any more bearable for them though. “…Let’s run away together…”
“Where would we go?” Ohno asked in response refusing to point out that it was impossible for them. Nino was an idol royal in many ways, he was considered the best looking royal from a poll taken from all over the world and it wouldn’t take a day before the Delta Squad where searching for them. He was confident of their skills but not that confident. Right at this moment though Nino didn’t want to hear that and so he went along with him.
“We could get a boat and sail anywhere…Just you and me…We could travel the world and forget about everything…” Ohno chuckled at Nino fantasy trying hard not to think of how impossible his dream was even if he wasn’t the prince of Japan but there were so many factors that Nino hadn’t accounted for and he couldn’t help but point out the major one;
“…You get seasick…”
“It’s a fantasy! You’re not meant to point out flaws! That’s not how they work!” Nino huffed pouting like the brat he used to pretend to be “…Besides I would put up with being sick for you!”
“I wouldn’t want you too…I hate you being sick, little prince…” Ohno growled at the thought his lips grazing the teen’s forehead before he could stop himself and he was glad when Nino’s stomach growled loudly to stop the awkward tension that exploded around the small closet. “Come on…Masaki has cooked for us, we should go eat…”
“Samii…Before I marry somebody I don’t love…Promise me that I will lose my virginity to you…Please…”
