“We’re not going to be dancing in front of other people are we? I don’t think I’m ready for that…” Nino whispered an hour later when Lola had decided that they were allowed to leave. It had put his schedule back a tiny little bit but Ohno knew that it was fine, judging from the smile that was on his face Nino had enjoyed the dancing, and so had he. The rest of the night, until dawn when Aiba was coming to pick them up at least, was just for them and he already had it planned out. Jun had helped him with some of the finer details of his date but this had been all him and he was looking forward to seeing Nino’s expression and he hoped that it would be a wondrous as the others that had been gracing his features all night.

“…I think we might leave that for our second date…Though I would enjoy doing more lessons with you as my partner…You are skilled…” Ohno chuckled looking at his lovely date who gave a flush so bright that it seemed to shine through the darkness that was closing in around them as they walked towards the sea front. It was something that he was going to miss when Nino became a vampire but it was a something that he was willing to lose if it meant that Nino could be with him for the rest of his extraordinary long life.

“I think she must have meant you! You were amazing! Have you danced before?” Nino asked his eyes narrowing suspiciously and Ohno knew that the game was up. He had never lied to his lover and he wasn’t going to start now on their first date.

“…A little…I was forced to learn by my parents but I think that today was the first time that I’ve ever moved like that with a partner…” Ohno answered honestly stopping walking so he could turn Nino to look at him making sure that he could read the honesty in his eyes and his expression “Lola was completely right…You a perfect for me Nino…”

“Because I follow?”

“Because you anticipate where I’m going and you move with me…Your body moves with mine in a perfect harmony…It is rare for that to happen…And don’t you dare be down about being the follower in the partnership during dance…” Ohno whispered brushing the human’s soft creamy cheek with just the tips of his fingers before moving down to the sweet bow mouth pointing out gently “They are normally the ones that have the most moves and tend to be the ones that will cover all of the mistakes that the one leading makes…It is the same with relationships or at the very true in our relationship...You are the one that covers over my imperfections…”

“…Un…” Nino breathed as he flushed an even deeper shade of pink and then moved forward pressing his face into his chest his arms sliding around his waist and Ohno did the same holding him for as long as could be deemed appropriate on the pavement in the centre of town even if it was the middle of the night. He pressed a kiss to his jawline and then released him again, boldly taking his hand as they carried on walking. “I would have killed myself…” Nino whispered strangely “You think that I’m a fighter but…I’m not…If I hadn’t gotten sick when I first came to you and you weren’t as nice to me… would have killed myself…”

“Then I am glad that you got sick…” Ohno growled his voice husky with the emotions that had risen up inside of him at those few words and Nino squeezed his hand with all his might whispering;

“I’m glad that you were nice to me…”
