“I don’t see what that has to do with, Masaki…” The man named Jun growled darkly his eyes flashing with a deeply quiet rage that had Sho almost flinching away from him. He had never been a man to scare easily but there was something decidedly cold and ruthless about the man. He had seen that look before, normally in the boardroom, but this, this was completely different.
“My grandfather’s will…” Sho said carefully deciding that honesty was the best policy right now when it was obvious that Jun wanted nothing more than an excuse to lay into him again “It says that I have to live with Aiba-san for six months if I don’t then the company has to be sold and all monies from the sale and my grandfather’s estate is to be given to Aiba-san to be given to the charity of his choosing…”
“…I still don’t see what that has to do with Masaki…” Jun growled trying to guide Masaki away but the man tugged away from him shaking his head and whispering;
“…Jun-san…I…I promised Shu-san…”
“Masaki this man was going to attack you…”
“He wouldn’t have…He…He just wanted to frighten me…” Masaki said with more confidence on the matter than Sho was feeling. He liked to believe that he wouldn’t have done the nasty thoughts that had gone around in his mind but to be honest he wasn’t completely sure. His anger had been very real and it was still there bubbling away in his chest leaving him almost breathless with it. Nothing in the apartment was helping, all of it was like staring at a person he had lived with for most of his childhood but had never really known. “Didn’t you?”
“Yes…I was angry…”
“Angry…Angry doesn’t excuse you beating on somebody that can’t defend themselves…” Jun spat before turning to Masaki and gripping his shoulders tightly forcing him to look at him. “Masaki you were always too trusting…To innocent…”
“I’ll be fine, Jun-san, I promise…Shu-san…He always believed in Sho-san…Even right to the end…Sho-san has just lost his grandfather…” Masaki breathed saying things that Sho would have never believed in a million years. Not once in three years had his grandfather tried to reach out to him. Masaki had phoned but there hadn’t been a single card or phone call from his grandfather. He felt his anger bubble up again and he turned away from the pair not wanting to say something that could ruin this unexpected chance that he was being given.
The brown terrier barked loudly at him as he walked into the spacious living area noting with even more frustration that his grandfather’s second life with Masaki even more prominent here. Every available space on the numerous shelves was decorated with bric-a-brac which had been obviously collected on their trips together in the last three years and Sho was tempted to throw each and every single last thing into a bin and be done with it. He dropped down into the sofa and then jumped back up again when he heard a loud hissing and spitting and felt claws sinking rather painfully into his soft and squishy buttocks. Spinning around he saw what was possibly the ugliest cat that he had ever had the misfortune to see. Its face looked like it had been hit point blank by a shovel with one eye missing and the other like a pearly white marble. His mouth was hanging open as it breathed deep proudly showing discoloured and missing teeth.
“Chew! There you are!” Masaki gasped swooping out of nowhere and picking up the creature in his arms managing to smile at it like it was some kind of cute kitten before looking at him with a fixed expression in his eyes saying “Six months…And if you ever touch me like that again…I won’t tell Jun-san to stop…Understand?”

A/N: I hope that this okay ^_^
