krystalkatzficz“So this is the Storm Queen?” Tomio asked as he boarded the ship from the wood and rope ladders the small motorboat tied to the side.
“Yes, I want to rename her the Sea Fairy after my little fairy, but I can’t get Kazu to agree with it…” Ohno chuckled almost sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck still surprised that his dad was here on his ship. There was a low pulse of music was coming from the main deck area and Ohno could hear his little lover laughing along with his friends and family. The ship was much larger than his boat had been, able to carry up to ten passengers along with seven crew, but with the amount of people that were here it felt a lot smaller and Ohno was already wishing that they were already underway with only Masaki, Shoko, Jun, and Kazuko, his father and his lover…Sure it was more people than he was used to having around him but it was much less than was here now. “…I see that mother refused my invitation…”
“…I’m sorry, Satoshi…” Tomio murmured lightly taking his hand and giving it a small squeeze “Even with the troubles she and I are having I did pass along your invitation…”
“I wasn’t expecting her to be here…” Satoshi admitted with a shrug guiding his father to where the music was coming from. It hadn’t even been his idea to send the invitation to his mother it had been his lovers. “Kazu just thought I should try and be the bigger man…”
“And you were…Your mother is a bitter woman Satoshi…” Tomio sighed his fingers running through his greying hair causing it to spike up around his face in a way that Ohno’s did when he was stressed “Nothing will ever change that…But today isn’t about her…Today is about you and Kazu and celebrating your ship...She is a beauty…”
“She really is…I think Kazu is more in love with her than I am…I think he hates that there is still a few months left before we can set sail…” Ohno chuckled again his eyes going to the teen who standing at the bow of the ship his face looking completely and utterly happy as he spoke to his father which caused Ohno to smile noting that Masahiko had been staying close to both Masaki and Kazu since arriving like he was afraid that they would be leaving that day. Kazu caught him looking and smiled waving him over.
“And I bet that you are just as eager to be getting off…” Tomio chuckled taking a glass of wine from the side as they walked towards Kazu and his father passed the few teenagers that made up Kazu’s friends and the few people that made up his, including his former…Special friend but Kazu didn’t need to know that he thought ignoring the guy who winked at him as he passed. Both he and the guy in question knew that it had been just for fun but he had stayed a friend and he hadn’t wanted to appear like Jun was his only friend even though it was pretty much the case.
“Hey, Captain, Ohno-san…” Kazu said wrapping his arm around his waist and pressing his lips to his cheek “No scowling…This is a party…And we are going to enjoy it now…”
“Yes…”
