Jun groaned and the frowned at the sound of his own voice. It was strange to his ears and sounded raspy at first he wasn't sure it was his voice but when he opened his mouth again the same rasp came out. He pulled his eyes open and it took longer than normal for his vision  to adjust but when it finally did he was staring into the most wonderful sight he ever want to see.

"Hey sleepy welcome back..." Nino whispered with a smile some of wrinkles around his eyes fading again as he squeezed his hand.

"What...happened?" Jun asked on his horrible croaky voice and Nino gave him a sad smile shaking his shoulders a little as he took a cotton swab from the side. It looked like a pink lolly pop with a sponge on the top. He placed it into what looked like melted ice water before putting it to his lips. The relief was immediate and Jun groaned with happiness as the cool liquid flowed out of the sponge and down his throat.

"Eri and I were waiting for you at the park and then I got a call from your mobile with some woman screaming that her lover had killed you..." Nino answered and Jun heard the tense tone in the otherwise flat voice and gingerly he squeezed the hand and Nino gave another smile "I went straight to your apartment and the ambulance and police were there...fuck sleepy I thought you were dead when I saw you Eri started crying and screaming..."

"I'm...sorry..." Jun choked and Nino shook his head his eyes tensing again his mouth almost vanishing into his face.

"Unless you asked to have the shit kicked out of you shut up Sexy..." The director snapped and Jun gave a grin wishing he hadn’t when his lip seemed to burst with pain. “You wouldn’t believe the shit I had to go through just so they’d let me sit in here...The hospital called your parents...”

“What?!” Jun shouted trying to sit up and then choking with the pain that filled his body. Nino smiled gently holding him down by his shoulders before dropping a kiss onto his forehead.

“They had too...They were still down as your emergency contact...Only your sister came though...” He muttered and Jun could feel the anger coming off of the older man and he smiled happy to feel so loved “She didn’t believe me when I told her who I was...”

“She wouldn’t...Is she still here?” Jun asked looking around the small room like he was expecting his sister to suddenly appear in the room.

“She’s sitting with Eri...” Nino nodded his hand resting on his forehead. “The woman that rang me...She was also attacked...She was pregnant...And well...”

Jun closed his eyes tightly clenching at the bedding that was wrapped loosely around him feeling a pang of sympathy for the girl. He didn’t know her very well and in all honesty he had thought she was nothing but an air head flirt but she didn’t deserve that.

“Did they find him?”

“No but...I don’t think they were looking very hard at first...” Nino growled and Jun saw a flash behind his eyes and he tilted his head to one side “A poof and a woman beater is not very high up on most people’s lists to catch...”

“You said were...” Jun said and Nino gave another shrug squeezing his hand again,

“Yeah...Well I made a few calls and my mum called in some favours trust me the prick isn’t going to get away with this...” He growled and Jun gave a smile his eyes closing again “Amazingly after all that you should be out in one or two days...And then you’re coming to stay with me...Just until you’re completely healed...”
