My holiday :)
May. 28th, 2017 03:14 pmHello! I’m back from my holiday, I really meant to post today but I was so tired that I didn’t wake until late. I thought I would get this out before positing again tomorrow and starting the week fresh from Monday.
First things first, I had an amazing time! I always do when I go to Wales so I shouldn’t be surprised but I think that this time was one of the best I’ve been.
Firstly, I went to Cardiff Castle which was amazing, anybody traveling to Wales should go take a look it was originally a roman fort and then the Butes took over really interesting and the decorations are just beautiful😊

The next day I headed to the doctor who experience. The experience itself was as good as ever, the guide was fun and engaging however I think the exhibit of the props themselves and the shop was better on my next trip. I think that it might be because they are closing soon or something but it seemed to be less this time.

After that I headed to Castell Coch (roughly translated means Red Castle) It was also owned by the Bute family and as with Cardiff Castle the decorations are stunning so much more than the pictures show. I also had afternoon tea in the castle and it was wonderful 😊

The next day was mostly spent praying at the various stones and things I also went to visit my grandparents resting place before heading over to Aberystwyth for milkshakes. It might seem like a long way to travel for milkshake but honestly, they do the best milkshake ever there 😊

On the Friday I went to New Quay. I’d never been there before but I decided to go sea fishing. And it was beautiful and so hot I got sun burnt >.< I was on the boat for around 2hrs and 45 minutes, I didn’t catch any fish but I did see Dolphins! It was the first time in my life that I have ever seen Dolphins and I was so happy that they were in the wild.

On my way home I went to Attingham House. It was a unique experience as it is the only house in the National Trust that has never been Victorianised and is still in much the same way it was when it was built so very much a Jane Austin time capsule. 😊 The owner had the house built on the cheap to upset his relatives so yeah the designer had no idea what he was doing. By the time it was given to the National Trust there was so much wrong with it that they had to spend a fortune fixing it up. It’s well worth a visit.

And that’s the end of my trip. I had an incredible time and I wrote tons! I think it was just what I needed! I promise I will be back tomorrow with my stories :)
