Ohno walked slowly into the booth where he was recording Discovery. He gave a sleepy yawn and then wiped his eyes with his fingers before sitting in front of the microphone. In his hands was the script that he had prepared for himself, today was going to be about what he wanted to say without censorship and he would pay for it later. He was Arashi’s leader and he knew that Nino and Jun needed him more so than ever since the VS Arashi announcement had found its way into the papers. He could understand why Sakurai had done it but at the same time it had taken a lot of persuading from a hyperventilating Nino and a distressed Jun not to punch or at least slap Arashi’s mama once they had made it back into the privacy of their green room.
Ohno gave a cough as the little warning light came on and then he lent forwards his hands resting on the desk as the music started he moved his carefully written script in front of him and then,

“Good morning, I'm Ohno Satoshi of Arashi! Here is today's quote of the day!” He said in his normal cheerful way ‘Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible - it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could. ‘Barbara de Angelis’ it is a good quote, ne? It means that no even if you can’t see it love is there and it changes you in ways that people might not expect…I’m sure everyone has already heard about Nino and Jun-chan and their wedding…I would hope that you’re as excited as we are but I’ve received messages that I thought I should address, like this one from

‘Pen name: Ohno-san, please elope with Ninomiya san.
Good morning Ohno san...’
I was shocked to hear the news of Ninomiya san and Matsumoto san's marriage plan! Does Matsumoto san force Ninomiya san to have a relationship with him?
What will happen to our Ohmiya SK?
I think you're the only right person for Ninomiya san. You two love each other right? Please save Ninomiya san!’

“Hmm…I see…Nino-chan and Jun-chan’s wedding seems to have upset a lot of people ne?” Ohno mused thoughtfully rubbing his chin before ripping up the piece of paper and sticking the letter in the bin where he thought that it belonged. He had been getting a lot of these types of letters but so far he had been told that he had to ignore them. Now though he was determined to defend his friends. “Okay…I was told not to talk about this but since they are my friends and I love them like brothers I want to tell you a story…13 years ago when we were all just frightened kids being told that we had to work to together to be a band called Arashi Nino-chan and Jun-chan fell in love, they knew that they couldn’t tell anybody because they were in Arashi and there was a lot of people that supported us and wanted us to succeed so they dated in secret.

They loved each other and supported each other when nobody else could see them and even when people said that they didn’t like each other…And they had to pretend to date other people…Like the letter said I love Nino-chan but not in the same way Jun-chan does…I’ve watched Jun hold Nino and tell him everything is going to be okay even when it seemed impossible and I’ve seen Nino walk into a room of 100’s of people and still be able to pick out where Jun is, even if he wasn’t able to go and stand next to him… And now I’m going to be able to watch them get married in front of all the people that mean so much too us…And when they walk into a room they’ll be able to stand next to each other…I understand that you’re upset and that you’re worried about Nino but to think that he was being forced…You are a fan of ours ne, so you should know that Nino would never be forced by anyone and there will always be OhMiya SK but it might be different, not in a bad way but because love transformed it into being something different…”

Ohno stopped talking to take a drink from the can of coffee that the member of staff had given him as a song played. He hoped that he had remained calm and hadn’t seemed like he was attacking the fans that weren’t supportive of his friends. So far he believed that he had done a good job he just hoped that Nino and Jun wouldn’t think he was interfering.

“And now you’ll be hearing about their babies…Please I ask that you wait for their announcement before you start to judge them…”

Jun watched Nino from his seat by the window trying to work out what he was going to do. Nino hadn’t spoken much since they had gotten back from the disastrous filming of VS Arashi and Jun knew that brooding couldn’t be good for the babies. The place had exploded after his announcement and filming anything more had been impossible. Nino had retreated into a shell his whole face becoming pale as he gnawed at the mountain of food that was piled beside him.
Letting out a sigh Jun pulled a letter from his pocket, it was fan mail that the manager had given him saying that maybe it would cheer them both up. It had been opened with a letter opener as the flap end was cut neatly with barely a trace of fraying and after humming to himself for a little while Jun pulled out the three sheets of A5 paper and read through it quickly his heart stopping a little as he gave a smile,

“Hey, babe…You should listen to this…” Jun said softly getting up and walking over to the sofa Nino watching with his expressionless eyes until he sat down on the seat next to him

“What is it?”

“A fan letter…”

“Maybe…I’ll listen to it some other time…” Nino breathed but Jun shook his head coughing as he smoothed out the pieces of plain white paper and started reading

‘Dear Mr Matsumoto and Ninomiya
Hi my name is artie I am 26 years old girl both my beautiful partner and I are indie artists. I play the guitar and drum as well, while my amazing girl friend is a fantastic singer, we’ve made our own music, we have gigs here and there hoping we can make it big someday, and hope our music can touch many people just like what you both well the rest of your band do :)”

“See not scary so far is it?” Jun asked and Nino scowled at him but inched closer peering at the letter with unmistakable interest in his brown eyes

“I want you to know how brave you both are to coming out nationwide like that my girlfriend and i have been together for almost 3 years Now, but we don’t really... well at least I don’t have enough guts to come out of closet yet, cause my parents are quite traditional and of course I love them both, but we see things differently so we don’t get along really well”

“That’s a little sad” Nino said leaning against his knee and Jun nodded his hand going down to tangle into his lover’s hair

“you know only some of my cousins knew about me and my girlfriend and thankfully they are ok with it and i am so grateful for that.in fact the two of them the ones that introduce me to you guys no offense but your music is a bit too popish for me

“For me too…” Nino murmured with a chuckle and Jun had to admire the woman’s honesty as he let out his own laugh pre-reading the next line.

“but I LOVE NIJI, and love your classic kiroi namida and even I don’t swing that way I think Ninomiya san look so damn hot in those GANTZ suit.” Couldn’t agree more…” Jun murmured, with a happy grin, thinking about when Nino had worn the outfit for private reasons and that it was currently hung in their wardrobe waiting for the day Nino would be able to wear it again

“Didn’t you get jealous of Matsuyama san, Matsumoto san?’

Jun tensed at that while Nino gave a short laugh snuggling closer to him as he muttered
“More than you’d ever guess” Jun smiled pressing his lips to his forehead his arms closing around him tightly as he continued to read the letter

‘Well the point of this letter is I want to thank you for being so brave to show people that it’s ok if you are in love with a person that have the same gender as you , you can still make a big thing and touch or change people’s lives even you are gay :) so congratulation on your wedding wishing you both a pleasant journey along the way cause I know things might get rough for you guys I hope you stay strong for each other. And don’t worry about the fans if they are your true fans they will stick around and support you :)’

“She seems pretty sweet, ne?” Nino said rubbing his stomach and Jun nodded glad that there was more life to his lover’s voice now which was a relief chuckling to himself as he pre-read the next few lines,

‘As a matter a fact my cousin is in manic state right now she’s been crazily for you guys she just so bubbly can’t stop grinning even she just found out that her boyfriend is cheating on her :'( she just said he just worth it and act like nothing happen, she said someday she’ll find the one and be happy just like both of you :) love that beats all odds, so I must thank you again once more for that.

“So what do you think?” Jun asked and Nino let out a long sigh rolling onto his back and looking up at him with a grin colour having returned to his face.

“Do you think we could get them to play at our private wedding?”
