Ohno stayed awake watching his lover sleeping beside him. He was almost afraid of the depths of emotions that were inside of him in regards to Nino. He had been terrified that he wasn’t going to be alive when he found him again and yet here he was sleeping against him healthy and happy coated in the evidence of their love making on his buttocks and his inner thighs. His skin was marked with red love bites and he wanted to stroke them but he didn’t want to disturb him. Shadows were under each of his eyes and he could see the signs of stress on his face even though he was relaxed while sleeping.

He wasn’t surprised that Akaike had fallen under the spell of his lover but he was surprised that he had let him go without damage. He knew the lap dog of Matsumoto well and had seen the way he treated the people on his own side, that Nino had gotten through that unscathed meant that it wouldn’t be the last that they saw of Akaike and Matsumoto. Ohno rand a hand down Nino’s side trying his best not to disturb him vowing in his heart that he would do anything and everything that he could to keep his Nino by his side. Never would he let him go again not even for a day. He shifted down in the bed roll and wrapped his arms more securely around his lover again enjoying the feeling of Nino squirming around in his arms before settling himself onto his chest once more against his heart. He ran his fingers up and down the knobbly back and pressed his lips to the very top of his lover’s head.

“I love you…” He breathed before finally allowing his mind to drift off to sleep.

When he awoke the bed beside him was empty and for a few painful moments he was sure that last night had been a bittersweet dream, a feeling which lasted until the door was slid open and Nino was coming back in with a tray of food and a gentle smile on his face.

“Good morning, my love…I thought that I should get us some breakfast before the morning rush…I imagine that it will get hectic here soon…” Nino breathed kneeling on the floor beside him his cheeks flushing a little before he admitted “…I also thought that I should go early because…I’m sure that…Um…They must have heard us last night…”

“Does it bother you that much?” Ohno asked softly taking Nino’s hand and tugging him back into his arms where he belonged. He himself couldn’t bring himself to care about the opinions of others. Nino was now truly his in all the ways that mattered.

“...I…Not really bother…But…You have to admit that it’s embarrassing that they know what we were doing…”

“I think that they thought we were doing that for a long time…They didn’t know that I was…Inadequate…” Ohno sighed flushing a little at the memory of his inability to perform. Nino’s arms snaked around him hugging him tightly as a somewhat dreamy expression filtered over his face as he whispered;

“…There is absolutely nothing inadequate about you my love…Last night was wonderful…more than I could have ever dreamed…”

“…You are an easy man to please my healer…But thank-you for always boosting my ego and soothing my pride with your sweet words…” Ohno chuckled knowing that it would take a while for him to be able to perform at his best again. “How are you this morning?”

“…Alive and here with you…I am better than I was yesterday morning…Eat your breakfast my love…”
