A not so hopeless crush part 32

Nino laughed loudly as he stared into Satoshi’s face as the older man tried to guess the name, Matsumoto Jun, which was stuck to his head. Somehow he had never imagined a child’s game being so fun before but he supposed it wouldn’t be as fun if his insides weren’t sloshing around with alcohol and the others that he was with weren’t naturally relaxed around each other. Satoshi pulled a face chewing on his lower lip with more intensity than the game warranted but it gave him a somewhat cute expression until eventually he asked;

“Am I woman?”

“No…”  Nino answered with a shake of the head “My turn? Am I Japanese?”

“…No…” Satoshi answered with a slow shake of the head before taking some more of his drink and giving a giggle before asking “Am I an actor?”

“Yes…” Nino nodded with a giggle of his own and Satoshi tilted his face this way and that before asking;

“Am I good looking?”

“Yes…” Nino tried his best not to flush at that or move his eyes over to Jun who was playing against Masaki. It was strange to see him with a sticker on his head which read Princess Catherine. It reminded him of all the times on their show when Masaki brought in his games and forced the others into it. The forfeit was even the same as Masaki had happily produced a t-shirt that had its nipples cut out and he wondered if any other fan knew that they were just watching the sober version of their drinking games.

“Am I…Haruma Miura?” Ohno asked and Nino shook his head relieved that he hadn’t noticed him openly gawking at Jun as he whispered;
“No…”

“Ah too bad…Your turny turn Nino-chan…!” Satoshi giggled at his own words and then pressed back to the sofa his eyes closing a little as he breathed through his nose his chest shuddering a little before he settled back down and Nino was finding himself enjoying Ohno’s company more than he had ever thought that he would. Of course he had only ever based his opinion of him on what he saw in the shows he watched but he was a lot more there then he had ever thought he would be. It was like when Satoshi had realised that he was near having a panic attack. He hadn’t said anything but asked about his clothes and allowed him so time to compose himself before Jun had come out but it had been nice.

“Am I a musician?” He asked and Satoshi blinked looking at the name attached to his forehead before nodding;

“Yup!”

“…Hmmm…Am I male?” Nino asked and Satoshi nodded enthusiastically before looking disappointed that his glass was empty as he said;

“Yup!”

“Am I still famous?” He asked and a frown of confusion creased Satoshi’s forehead as he tilted his head to one side a little and chewed on his lip before finally nodding;

“Um…Yeah…But…Um yup…I guess…”

“Am I dead?”

“Yes…”

“Was I in a group?”

“Yup! Nino-chan is good at this game ne?!” Satoshi told him brightly and Nino grinned doubting that he was good but more that everyone else was pretty drunk and giving away more information than they actually probably wanted to.

“Did I have a moustache?”

“A big beautiful moustache…” Satoshi giggled causing Nino to inch forward positive that he knew who he was and said with a flutter in his chest;

“Am I Freddie Mercury?”

“Yes! You win again Nino-chan…! Who was I anyway?” Satoshi pulled the piece of paper from his forehead and squinted at the words before giggling a little “Matsumoto Jun! I’m Jun-kun! Hey Jun-kun! I got you!” Satoshi called causing Jun to look away from Masaki and the game that they were playing and Nino smiled a little at the look that came into the man’s eyes as he looked him over. “Nino-chan won! It’s down to you two now!”

“…It’s my turn…Am I British Royalty?” Jun asked and Masaki nodded cheerfully and Nino could see that Jun probably already knew who he was and was just confirming the details.

“Yes!”

“…Did I recently give birth?”

“Yup?!”

“Am I Kate Middleton…Princess Catherine?”

“Yup! You win Junny! Ah that was fun! Another game? Or should we do singing?! I think we should sing! Sho-chan? Are you done? I wanna sing a whole new world!” Masaki said getting up and swaying dangerously before bouncing over the room to where Toma and Sho were still battling it out with Toma having the Cheshire cat from Alice in wonderland and Sho being Mary Poppins. Eventually Toma won by a narrow margin and Masaki celebrated by grabbing Sho’s hand and tugging him over to the karaoke machine. Jun chuckled and came over to Nino his arms wrapping around him like they had been doing for most of the night and Nino gave a laugh and nestled himself into them and preparing himself for a whole new world.
