Ohno watched the prince walk off with Jun to the prisoners knowing that sooner than he would have liked he was going to have to hold the trial. He had wanted Nino to have more confidence within himself before it happened but that didn’t seem likely. After making sure that Nino was safely with the youngest members of the clan again he walked to Masaki’s and Sho’s tent. The blacksmith and the Ru’inwë had only been seen at meal times since they had arrived back at the clan and Ohno wasn’t truly all that surprised. The pair had never been separated for so long before and they were allowed to get to know each other again and Ohno felt guilt for disturbing them now. He cleared throat as loudly as he could, before ringing the chimes that Sho had created for his love. They were in the shapes of their two Dune Foxes. As if on cue Fee and Swift appeared first their noses pushing against his hand and their eyes sharp.

>Be at peace I am here for your fathers…< He said and the pair yipped a little and then ran around in circles and then darted back into the tent and soon the startled cried of Masaki and Sho could be heard from within and Ohno imagined that the pair of Dune foxes, which were normally so well trained, had jumped on the bed to wake them. Fee and Swift had always been a little different from other Dune Foxes though and the high king imagined that it was because they had been treated as babies by the pair and the Ru’inwë had never corrected their behaviour. >I’m sorry to disturb you both…< he called softly smirking just a little when he heard panicked voices and then squeals as the two men hurried to get ready. Eventually Masaki’s face appeared in the opening >Good afternoon…<

>Um…High king!<

>…I’m sorry to disturb your reunion but the prince has arrived for the trial…< Ohno hummed softly as Sho joined his partner and the pair stiffened their embarrassed faces becoming serious and understanding as they gave nods >It will be taking place as soon as possible…This needs to be over before we enter the crystal forest and I am able to have my bonding ceremony…As my third you must be with me at the trial and Sho…My beloved will wish to speak to you at some point…<

>Yes high king…< Sho grunted looking confused but Ohno refused to tell him what Nino wanted him for. It had been Nino’s own idea to ask Sho to be on his council and as such he could have the honour of telling the man.

>Will the Prince of humans try and get them off?< Aiba asked and Ohno honestly thought that it was unlikely. They had committed the acts laid out before them even if they had been acting under the orders of Draven they could have refused.

>Prince Mathias will see to it that they are given a fair trial…As is their right…But Prince Mathias is a friend of Nino’s it seems so he will listen…< He said slowly >But I will need you and Jun to talk with me over the evidence that we will provide for them…<
