Jun sat behind his desk staring at the photo of Nino and the Blue Comet, the ship that Nino had been on when they had started talking on the radio. He had never told his husband that he had fallen in love with him over that radio, he had seen a few pictures of the flight lt. and he had known his reputation but seeing him. He twisted the ring around his finger and then flicked his gaze to the CCTV footage last night.

Nino and the barkeeper, Aiba, falling all over each other, his heart twisted as he saw them kissing their hands trailing all over. It wasn’t long before Nino’s hand was darting into Aiba’s trousers and he was pumping at him in a slow steady stroke that Jun knew so well, even know he could feel his own cock trembling while he watched. He picked up the remote and switched the T.V off he had already seen the end he knew what happened. Taking a breath he stared at the wall guessing that the joke was on him. He had had a few drinks in the base bar and he knew Aiba from sight, tall and good looking with soft dyed hair bright eyes that crinkled in the corner when he smiled. Not Nino’s type at all, Jun thought but the evidence was more than obvious that last night his husband hadn’t taken much stock in types.

The commander clicked his tongue and looked down at the papers in front of him and his heart clenched again when he saw that it was Nino’s transfer papers. He would be going to America in only three days for training, they really didn’t want to hang around with this but he guessed that that made sense. It was the next giant leap for mankind after all. He really could understand why Nino wanted to be in on that and he knew that he should be proud of him for being picked but he couldn’t be. He signed the paperwork with more confidence than he had the divorce papers yesterday.

He knew that most people would think it was weird to already have divorce papers already made up in at his lawyer’s office but most people weren’t married to Nino. His parents had been the ones that suggested it, along with the prenuptial agreement that was still nestled in the safe of his lawyer. His lawyers had completely understanding yesterday and had taken them out as if they had been a forgone conclusion. Throwing the papers into his outgoing basket and then settled back into his chair until there was a knock on the door

“Come” He said his eyes flicking to the glass trying to guess by the salute it was and he knew immediately that it was his husband. He straightened his tie and then smoothed down his jacket coughing as the door opened and Nino walked in to the room standing in front of the desk “Is there something that you need?”

“Jun…I’m sorry…Last night…I got drunk…And I…”

“Acted true to character and slept with someone else?” The commander asked with a lifted eyebrow. He knew his voice with emotionless, he schooled it to be, but inside his chest his heart was breaking more so when Nino gave a nod staring at the point above his head. It was then that Nino was standing completely to attention his back straight and his arms clasped behind his back. “It didn’t take you long did it? I guess I should have known…I would have thought that you would have at least waited until the ink was dry on the papers…”

“Jun…” Nino said his body relaxing as he took a step towards the desk but Jun stood up quickly moving to the window and then motioned to the papers resting in the wire basket

“Your transfer papers have already come through, I’m guessing that they had already made their choice before yesterday…You’ll be moving to the base in America in a few days…” He said and he had to admit that he was glad when Nino seemed stunned by that, his normal confidently smug expression slipping from his face. He was so angry right now and he wanted to rant and rave and do everything possible to attack and hurt Nino but he couldn’t he just had to be satisfied with this.

“So soon… But…” Nino whispered, his eyes widening with confusion as they flicked to the paper work 

“Well, there’s the training and everything…So much for you thinking that it was only 2 and a half years…Even if you’re busy I’m sure you’ll find plenty of time for flirting or blowjobs behind bars…” Jun said his voice calm but his words poisonous and he could tell Nino knew that he had seen. He rocked on the balls of his feet and then glanced out of the window as Nino asked

“You saw?”

“Yeah… the security guards and I had front row seats for that…That was a treat this morning when they knocked on the door to give me the DVD and to inform that they had deleted the rest of the data…” Jun sighed poking at the shiny buttons of the uniform with his forefinger “I can’t imagine why they thought that I would want to see my husband on his knees with his lips wrapped around some guy’s dick under the glow of a yellow night light, but there it was…”

“Jun…You gave me the divorce papers…” Nino said and Jun almost choked as he turned his head wondering what kind of defence that was.

“I’m sorry? I gave those to you yesterday…And then not even too hours later you’ve got your dick out and your pumping away like a milk maid and you want to make this my fault? I see...Well good day to you, Flight Lt. Ninomiya…I have a lot to do…”

“Jun…” Nino said softly taking the three steps towards him and touching his arm but Jun stiffened and brushed him off

“That is Commander Matsumoto… And I would appreciate it if you remembered your place…As for your sleeping arrangements…I’m sure your friend will put you up...Until you leave…” He said and he could feel Nino flinching back his breath coming out as a long sustained hiss

“I won’t go…If that’s what you want I want go, I’ll turn it down…Please…” Nino whispered his voice breaking and Jun knew how much that must have hurt for him to say but that might have been what he would have wanted to hear yesterday it was too late for that now.

“No…I don’t think so, Flight Lt. that might have been acceptable yesterday but that was before you were swallowing somebody else’s cock…As I said before I have a lot to get through today, Flight Lt. so if you don’t mind…” Jun said stiffly walking back to his desk and resting his hand on the ancient wood and fixing him with a glassy glare. Nino seemed to leap to attention and quickly he saluted

“I’m sorry, sir, of course I won’t take any more of your time commander…Good day” Nino left the office and as soon as the door slammed closed Jun sank to the floor hugging his knees. Yesterday, if had said that yesterday Jun would have told him to go and he although he wouldn’t have liked it, and he would still been worried, Jun knew that he would have waited for him. But he hadn’t even had that, all he had gotten was a list of years and his over confident smirk. The commander sighed pulling at his hair before taking a breath and sorting himself out again and sitting behind his desk knowing that he had no choice but to carry on as normal.
