Nino frowned slowly looking up at the large house that Jun had brought them to him. It was a large building though not grandiose settled back away from the main road surrounded by a small woodland and decorated with veins that ran up the left hand side. There was a large pond/small lake on the right side of the house and the whole garden was surrounded by a six-foot wall. It wasn’t as big as some of the houses that they had visited in their stay and there were no other cars around leaving him feeling a little off kilter as he looked up at Jun asking;
“Is this another historic house?”
“Sort of…” Jun smiled his hand sliding around his shoulders and guiding him up to the front door “Let’s go in and have a look around…”
“Okay…” Nino breathed wondering if he could tell Jun that he wanted to stay in the UK when they had been around this house. He had been trying hard to find the words since they had woken up after an enthusiastic bout of sex last night. He glanced up at Jun who was smiling almost goofily as they walked up the white stoned steps to the large stain glassed door. “Jun? Um…Is everything okay? You’re acting strangely…”
“I’m fine…” Jun answered turning the brass handle the door opening without even a creak or a groan something that was unusual in an older house but it only became even more unusual when there was nobody to greet them and tell them about the place. The hallway was large with blue and white tiles making up a pattern of flowers on the floor and cherry wood panels under a light green paint on smooth walls.
Directly in front of them was a set of stairs in the same cherry wood. A rich blue carpet ran up the centre of them and was held down with brass tacks. On either side of the hallway were doors which were closed tightly. “Come on…” Jun breathed opening the first one with led straight into a library which was already half stacked with books along one side. A large mahogany desk too up most of the room but there was a leather chair and a window seat as well as a globe in the far corner. There was a hint of age and dust in the air and Nino hummed going to the window and looking out onto the dive through the ivy.
Nino gave a sigh and then followed Jun out into the hall and into a warm pleasant sitting room which had overstuffed chairs around a fire. This wind looked out into the small lake and Nino couldn’t help but gasp with excitement as he bobbed up and down asking;
“Can you imagine living here?”
“No…I can’t…Not really…” Jun hummed coming up behind him and wrapping his arms around his waist his mouth nuzzling at his ear. “But…Do you want to?”
“What?” Nino hummed in confusion turning to look at him with a narrow frown of confusion “What do you mean?”
“I want to stay here…In the UK…if you do…” Jun told him gently his thumb ghosting over his neck “And if you want it this is our home…I know that there is a lot that we have to do in Japan but I can arrange to do all my business here…So what do you think?”
