krystalkatzficz“Is everything okay, Ohno-san?” Jun asked when the CEO had found his way into his office. The older man blinked in a slow sleepy way as if he was sleep walking. The older man settled himself down into the chair opposite his desk stretching out his legs and gripping his fingers in a steeple. It was rare for the man to come down from his office but Ohno smiled and nodded humming;
“Hnn? Yeah, everything’s fine…You look more rested than your lover…”
“I had an hour before coming to work…” Jun hummed remembering curling up on the sofa and falling instantly to sleep while Nino was massaging his head “…Nino was panicking about his cat…”
“…I didn’t believe you at first, a three-year relationship would be something difficult to hide, but now I know I was wrong…” Ohno announced and Jun nodded with a smile “I do apologise for everything that has happened…”
“…It isn’t your fault, sir…”
“Indeed, is Tachibana going to cause more problems?”
“I’m unsure, it could be that she finally sees that her feelings for me are one sided and she acts like a grown-up or she might try…” Jun felt just a touch guilty for his actions regarding the woman that he had dated but that feeling fled whenever he thought of her attitude towards him and Nino. It was a difficult situation and one that he couldn’t find a clear answer to. If he could go back to three years ago he would never have started dating the girl and he would have stolen Nino a lot earlier.
“Issue a photo to the security staff…” Ohno said his voice breaking through his morbid thoughts, the CEO reading the closed off expression on his face as a sign that he was troubled about Hana and what she was going to do “I can’t offer you and Nino outside protection but this is a place of work…”
“I will do…”
“So I am apparently on the list for having a kitten?” Ohno smirked relaxing back into his chair and stretching his legs out in front of him his hands resting happily on his chest. “If there’s one as cute as Kaito I’d happily take it off your hands…”
“I knew you would…I haven’t seen them clearly yet but they all seemed fluffy…” Jun hummed thinking back to the little fur balls that he had seen wriggling around over Kaito. Ohno’s mouth spread into a bright and happy grin before he said;
“Well I’ll give a few days to settle them in and then I shall have to call round again…”
“Call around whenever you would like…” Jun was surprised at his own offer knowing that he was probably being friendlier than he would have been before Nino and the older man seemed to appreciate that from the way he smiled.
“Thank-you, I’ll do that, for now I think that I should toddle back off upstairs and do some actual work…” Ohno hummed gently rocking back and forth before getting properly to his feet leaving Jun to wonder what he had come down for in the first place. Not questioning it though he got to his own feet and jerked his head as the older man left. He allowed his eyes to stray to Nino who was working furiously now his fingers flying over the keyboard and he allowed himself to bask in the glow of love for a few minutes before his phone started to ring and he went back to answer it counting down the time before he and Nino could be back at home together with their moody cat and her babies.
