Jun diced the vegetables half an eye on Nino who was actually sitting crossed legged on the living room floor doing more work than he had seen him doing in all the time that he had known him. It was a sight that warmed his heart and made him feel better about the direction of their relationship. It was definitely something that he could get used to. He smiled to himself and continued to prepare their meal before frowning again when the doorbell rang. Nino visibly tensed from his potion on the coffee table.

“I’ll get it...” Jun said gently wiping his hand on the table cloth and heading towards the door only fractionally relieved when it opened with a click and Sho came in followed by a smiley happy Masaki who was waving a bottle wine around. “Welcome…Come on in…” Jun said almost sarcastically as visions of his night attempting to seduce Nino vanishing in a puff of smoke. It was something that he had been thinking about almost all day…Or at the very least since their conversation about the brewery owner fancying Nino.

“Hey! I thought we’d come and have a drink to celebrate!” The ever cheerful Masaki said smiled at his friend who scowled throwing his pen down onto the designs that he was working on. Jun went back to preparing his food knowing that it would be easy for him to add to it and make it enough for four people. Sho flashed him an understanding smile as if apologising for the intrusion telling him silently that it hadn’t been his idea and Jun gave shrug back looking back up at Nino who was slamming his folder closed glaring at him.

“Celebrate what?”

“You moving in here…Isn’t it amazing!” Masaki gasped looking like he wanted to run around the apartment and poke his nose in every room but was restraining himself by swaying back and forth on his heels. Jun chuckled at the almost childlike enthusiasm and he flashed at a look Sho who stole a carrot giving a shrug as he popped it into his mouth and chewing quickly.

“Would you like to look around? Nino show your friend around…” Jun said placing what was rest of the vegetables into a frying pan while Nino muttered something dark and probably childish under his breath before pulling Masaki out of the room leaving Jun and Sho together.

“Wow…Its love…” Sho laughed settling him down on one of the kitchen barstools. Jun decided not to dignify it with a response. “Come on…I heard from your receptionist that you cut out of work early…”

“We went to the brewery, we were working…” Jun hummed almost defensively wishing that he hadn’t when he knew that he had made a mistake and his ears burned brightly at the bark of laughter than Sho let out “Why were you ringing the office?”

“I just wanted to see if you were okay…” Sho said taking a bit of left over carrot and munching it between his overly large, but strangely cute, teeth. “I still can’t believe that you allowed him to move in after only a few meetings…”

“A few meetings? I’ve known him for three years…” Jun knew what Sho was saying but he really didn’t want to get into a discussion about his feelings when Nino and Masaki could reappear at any moment.

“Hey I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing…It’s actually quite nice to see you actually interested in somebody…Hana-chan…That was a bit of a...Well a complete disaster really…” Sho hummed delicately as he could while looking a little sheepish and scratching the back of his neck and Jun couldn’t help but nod in agreement, it had been nothing but a disaster from start to finish which was why he was going to do it properly with Nino.
