“We can get you some shelves for your figures…” Jun said as he helped fill up Nino’s room full of his things. It was almost depressing how easily everything had gone away. Five years’ worth of a life fitting all too easily into a few drawers. Nino shock his head and rearranged his figures onto of the chest of drawers before placing down his aftershave.
“It’s all right they fit on here…I always thought I had more stuff…” Nino hummed sounding as depressed as Jun knew he would be if his whole life could have easily fitted into a spare bedroom. Even one as large as his. “Thank-you…For putting me up…”
“I really don’t mind…It’ll be nice to have the company…” Jun hummed though in truth he wasn’t sure how he was going to cope. He liked Nino, was in love with him in fact, but liking somebody and living together wasn’t something that should happen as quickly as it had done in their case. Then again nothing about their case was average. “Drink before we go?”
“I guess…” Nino shrugged sighing as she stroked some dust away from one of the Sonic the hedgehog figures. “Sorry I don’t mean to be down…I’ll get over it…Come on you should taste my coffee!”
“Of yeah? What’s so special about it?” Jun asked shaking his head as he followed the younger man out of the room and closed the door behind them. “Oh by the way I’ve called the brewery the owner will meet us at three so it will give us ample time to get there…”
“Right…You know that I’ve never actually met with a client before right?” Nino asked as they entered the kitchen area and Jun was surprised to hear that he actually sounded nervous about the whole thing. It didn’t stop him from making up his coffee though, he thought with a small chuckle..
“I know, but there’s no time like the present to start, and I’ll be there to make sure that you don’t screw it up by acting like your normal bratty self…” Jun smirked trying to probe out that feisty side again knowing that he was actually rather fond of it. True to form Nino scowled at him and then did something unexpected by sticking out his tongue in a childish way.
“Careful you’re sounding like the douche you pretend to be at work…It won’t work on me anymore I know you too well…”
“You really don’t know the real me at all though…I could be worse than the person that I was pretending to be at work…” Jun chuckled glad that Nino had seemingly gotten over his mood again.
“I doubt that’s possible…Work you was a real douche…I like this you a whole lot better…” Nino said with a roll of his shoulders and Jun wanted to say that this him really wasn’t him either. His previous girlfriend was right. He was normally a cold and almost unfeeling sort of person but with Nino he seemed to become as soft and comforting as hot chocolate with marshmallows. It was actually quite unnerving. Nino made them their coffees in silence after that mostly because it seemed to be the most intense coffee ever produced. The aroma of it when it arrived though was something completely different to what he normally drank and he was amused to see that there was a leaf pattern in the froth on top.
“I think you missed your calling in life, you should have opened a coffee shop…Or at least worked in one…”
“I did to pay my way through college…” Nino shrugged not in the least bit embarrassed and Jun smiled taking his first sip of what was probably the best coffee he had ever tasted.

A/N: Hmmm I hope that this wasn’t boring…I hate coffee…I have an allergy to it but even if I didn’t I would hate it, tea person through and through, but I love the looks of those little coffees with the leaves on :/

Date: 2015-10-10 02:16 pm (UTC)It's not boring at all... I love their interaction and how they slowly open up with each other.
I'm not a coffee person too xD. These past few years.I develop some kind of lactose intolerance thingy and I started to get a digestive problem after drinking coffee xDDD. Such a tough life xDDD.
Are you a typical British person portrayed in movies and literature who always drink tea? sorry for stereotyping xDDD.
