“Can you tell me why we are doing this again?” Matsumoto Jun, former idol and member of Arashi, asked looking at his lover Ninomiya Kazunari who was marching them through the wilderness with a frim look of determination on his face. There was something almost manic about the expression but Jun was just glad to see him out and about. It had been three years since a reporter had broken the story about them dating and the company had given them the ultimatum of deny it and break up or leave. For Jun it had been the easiest choice of his life but there were some days when he suspected that Nino might regret it.
“We’re getting our Christmas tree!” Nino announced his voice sing song and care free even when he stumbled and almost fell face first into the snow that was already coming up to his knees. Jun would have moved forward to catch him but he was currently balancing their daughter and son on both hips and both were sleeping peacefully while looking like to little glow worms in thick onesies. The twins had been born a year ago the product of a willing egg donor and surrogate. They had no idea whose biological children they were as they had both given sperm, they were just glad that that they were both fine and healthy. Yuri and Yuki his beautiful angels who acted like devils when they wanted to.
“We have a Christmas tree…” He pointed out for the umpteenth time to the back of his lover who was glaring at the patch of snow that he had almost fallen into while patting the snow from his gloved hands.
“A fake one…I want a real one…It’s the twins first birthday as well…” Nino mumbled with a shrug and Jun sighed a little shaking his head and nudging the back of his leg with a toe.
“Okay…I understand...” He said smiling as Yuri gave a snuffle moving closer into his body “Well be better hurry then before the good ones are gone…”
“I knew you’d understand! Come on!”
