After his mother had reminded him that he would be going back to the city soon it also made him realise that he still didn’t have anywhere to live when he did go back. When they stopped for dinner Nino, almost reluctantly, phoned his manager hoping today would be the one day that the line was working. He made him feel sad when he thought that his mum must have spent day’s trying to reach him and he had never been grateful for it.

“Hello! Nino! It’s been ages!” Aiba shouted down the line when the call finally connected and Nino smiled to himself, his manager really was an idiot but he would want to change him in any way

“Hey, sorry I was really busy…I need you to do me a favour… I know it isn’t your job but would you find me an apartment… It doesn’t have to be long term…” Nino added the last part quickly as a painful stab hit his heart and an uncomfortable feeling rose in his stomach. He still had no idea what he was or wanted to do, and now that he had Jun he was more confused than ever but he was determined that like Kazuko said he would work just as hard for this like Jun was doing

“Of course I can!” Aiba bellowed again, either because of his own enthusiasm or because there was a cracking on the line that he couldn’t hear, knowing Aiba the first of them was the more likely “Nino… I saw Sakurai yesterday…”

“Yeah… And?” Nino muttered grumpily, hating the way the name could still twist at his heart, he pulled and played with the curly wire of the phone twisting it around his finger until it turned white

“He said that you were seeing someone else…” Aiba was hesitant, his voice unsure if he should be saying that and Nino gave a sigh leaning against the wall giving a sigh.

“So he’s painting me as the bad guy?” He mumbled very tempted to smack his own head against the wall.

“… No…Not really but…Is it true?” Aiba whispered and Nino nodded looking through the open door and seeing Jun driving to the house

“Yes… It’s true there is someone…I’ll tell you more when I get back… Tell Becky I said hi…”

“Um… About that… I have some news of my own… But I’ll tell you in a few days…” Aiba said cheerfully and Nino made a murmur of agreement thinking that maybe is manager had finally asked Becky to marry him or had gotten her pregnant, in either case he guessed soon that he would be buying a congratulations present. That aside his heart was skipping as the doctor came up the porch steps two at a time

“Hey” Jun said coming straight to him, kissing his cheek as his hand started running down his arm

“Hi” Nino smiled his eyes running over his boyfriend happily, the phone filling strangely heavy in his hand “Right I have to go…I’ll see you in three days…”

“Okay Byiee!” Aiba said cheerfully and Nino hung up the phone and threw his arms around Jun’s neck bringing their mouths together, his tongue brushing against the doctor’s lips wanting to bring them closer together. Thankfully Jun allowed it his arms going around his back and pulling him closer one of his hands going to his buttocks

“Hmm… I missed you to Kazu…” Jun murmured with a smile, his breath tickling against his flushed lips “So… You’re going home in three days?”

“I have too…I have rehearsals next week…” Nino sighed stepping away from him but continuing to hold on to his hands “But its only for four days I’ll come back for the weekend…”

“I knew you had to go back at some point” Jun shrugged “Like I have an appointment in an hour”

“So you should put each other down and have something to eat” Kazuko called from the dining room, with a sigh Nino led Jun in and sitting as close as he possibly could without actually sitting on his lap. There was something so comforting about being near Jun with his gentle body heat and the soft perfume scent that seemed to mix perfectly with the scent of his mums home cooking. As Jun and Kazuko chattered about the people in the village Nino kept his eyes fixed on his face or more accurately his lips remembering the amazing things that they had been doing last night. For someone that hadn’t had much experience in giving head he had been pretty skilled. “Kazu… The table doesn’t need feeding…”

“Huh?” Nino mumbled pulling his eyes away from Jun’s face and looked down at his plate seeing that he had just been stirring his food around with his chopsticks “Sorry”

“My face just attracts you too much to actually eat?” Jun grinned and Nino blushed giving a glare as he stuffed what was left of his food into his mouth while they both laughed around him Jun’s hand stroking against Nino’s bandaged one “When we’ve finished eating I’ll check your hand…”

“Thanks, J” he mumbled with unable to look at him even after everything they had done last night this kind of gentle intimacy got to him in a way that he couldn’t understand. After they’d eaten Jun treated his hand while gently dropping kisses onto his nose and cheeks while Nino stroked the doctor’s thigh, hips and stomach with his good hand. He wasn’t trying to be overly sexual but in his own way he was trying to tell Jun that he was the one he wanted “Do you want to sleep over?” Nino asked wondering why he sounded like a kid that was suggesting some kind of sleep over

“With your mum in the next room? Why don’t you stay at mine?” Jun suggested gently finishing his hand and pulling him into a real kiss, and Nino giggled a little coming to sit on his knee his arms going around his neck

“…Okay…” He agreed his breath coming out as a purr as his hands tangled in the doctor’s hair, his fingers brushing against the skin of his neck “We can go for a drink first right?”

“As long as it’s not like the other day” Jun agreed with a nod before sighing and kissing his lips “I have to go…”

“Okay I’ll see you later in the inn…” Nino nodded trying not to pout as he climbed off of Jun’s lap smoothing down his… Or Jun’s clothes and helped Jun to his feet wishing that he didn’t have to leave but knowing that he would see him later. It was easier to tell himself that this was where he wanted to be when he was with Jun but when he was alone things became more confusing and distorted in his head.

Jun smiled running his fingers through his hair before kissing his forehead and nose again before going out to the car and calling “See you later”

Nino waved watching him leave as he lent against the doorframe until he was no longer in view and Kazuko had come up behind him touching his shoulder rolling her eyes with what was becoming a familiar teasing smile that almost matched his own perfectly.

“Shut up!” He mumbled his cheeks flushing hotly marching back out into the field to finish his patch of the garden still able to hear Kazuko laughing behind him

“I didn’t say anything” She gasped “But you are cute Kazu-chan”

The rest of the afternoon dragged by, but that might be because Nino was checking his watch every five seconds, no matter what he did didn’t seem to take any of the time up. It felt like it had been a month since lunch when he finally thought that it was an okay time to head to the inn and his stomach was dancing happily which only grew when he saw Jun coming out of his house.

Jun was lost in thought and didn’t notice Nino coming towards him. Yesterday and this morning he had gone all out to make sure that everything had gone perfect for Nino, even if he had come off like the hero in a cheesy romance story. In his heart he wanted Nino to stay here and then they could live out their lives in the village but at the same time he knew that there was a very high chance that Nino would go back to the city, if that happened he didn’t know what he would do. A long distance relationship was fine for a while but eventually he would want more than that.

 He gave a sigh remembering the tears Nino had shed when they had been doing it, he wasn’t a fricken saint and it had hurt him to see the guy he loved crying over someone else but it had only been a week or two since he had broken up with Sakurai so he had to be understanding. It was like Kazuko had said last night before they had left on their date ‘The love you work the hardest for will be the best’. He was under no illusions that Kazuko hadn’t been gently smoothing things down with Nino for him as well

“J!”

Jun blinked turning around just in time to be dive bombed by his boyfriend. That had thrown him when Nino had said it and although he had felt like singing and shouting it from the rooftops he had managed to keep himself relatively calm.

“Hey… Ready for our second date?” He asked and Nino grinned kissing his lips and Jun thought ‘whatever happens now… Sakurai might have been his first real love… But I’m going to damn well be his last…’

A/N: I hope that this is okay… But reading it back I think it is slightly pointless…. I’m sorry…

About The rewrite of more than a slave… for some reason the file was corrupted or ‘not saved properly’ so I have to re-write a few chapters of the re-write… Luckily I had a back-up for most of it though xD

(My second try at sending a comment-----LJ!!!!) OMG you had to rewrite your rewrite? I know how frustrating that can be when you lose a story. Let me pull up a chair from Face Down video.......find one of the boys....how about Jun?....and have you sit on his lap. Feel better now? I thought the story needed this bit because it starts on the next part of their relationship.....just what will Nino do? Can't wait to find out.....and for them to have a second date/sleepover....heheh....should be fun. : )

I wonder if the news Aiba has will effect Nino's work... like maybe Becky really did get pregnant and Aiba is going to take some time off or something. XD *lets imagination take over*
Jun is right though, there's only so long they can keep up a long distance relationship, so if it works, I wonder who will be the one to move away?
