Eros part 12

krystalkatzficzNino woke with a jump pulling his head up from the bed about to glare at whatever it was that had so rudely awoken him. He groaned rubbing his face into the pillow that he swore smelt like Jun when he saw Sachiko flounce into the looking like it was the middle of the day. She looked as bright as a button, dressed in purple seeping trousers and a purple strappy top with a white kitten on the front saying ‘Have Purrfect Dreams’
“Edmund, I need your help…” She said padding onto the bed and sitting down next to him causing the bed to dip slightly.
“What is it Lucy?” He asked sleepily his eyes closing again; half hoping to fall back into the pleasant dream he had been having about Jun, naked and a beach. Sachiko sighed heavily in a way that caused Nino to stiffen just slightly with worry and one eye open to look at her.
“I think I’m pregnant…” her voice coming out in a hesitant sounding whisper
“What..!” Nino shouted his eyes flying open, jumping up so fast that he bumped his head on the shelf that housed his games causing a cascade effect to land on top of him in four painful hits. He pushed them away from him and then turned to look at her his face white his eyes wide “What do you mean…Pregnant…?”
“Nothing but that woke you up right?” Sachiko grinned innocently as her eyelashes batted prettily at him.
“You’re such a bitch…I was worried and confused then…” Nino spat hitting his friend with the pillow and kicking the games to the floor. After another hit on her arm and shoulder with the pillow Nino flopped back down and pulled it over his head ignoring the girl that was tugging on his arm.
“Sorry, Nino…I was just joking…You do it all the time…” She said with a whine and Nino gave a growl and pulled the pillow away and stared at her, his eyes heavy and aching with the loss of sleep.
“Fine…What is it?” He muttered and Sachiko chewed on her lip her fingers brushing over the words on her top for a long time and just when Nino was positive that he was going to fall to sleep regardless of what she wanted to say she started speaking her cheeks flushing slightly.
“I confessed to Miss White…” she admitted in a soft voice and again Nino jumped up, more carefully this time, and eyed her warily
“…Is this another of your jokes?” He asked with a lifted eyebrow “Because if…”
“No…Not this time Edmund, I knew right from the start that you were going to get Jun one way or another before the end of the month and then you were going to force me to go and tell her and yesterday when you were talking to Jun I went out and she was heading to her car all alone so I…”
“Went over and asked if she was a fan of lady parts?” Nino guessed knowing that his joke was weak but he couldn’t believe it. Sachiko wasn’t the most forward thinking of people in that department.
“No…I…I asked if she needed any help and then well I just helping her with her bags and then she asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee and…I sort of blurted everything out in her car…”
“What did she say?” Nino asked leaning towards her noting that she had slept out last night and he was starting to doubt that she had spent the night with Aarin.
“What could she say? She’s our teacher, even if it’s not permanent and she’s a she…” Sachiko sighed, chewing on the inside of her cheek and tucking her legs up to the chest wrapping her arms around them resting her head on her knees. Her dejection looked convincing but Nino had noticed the sparkle in her eyes and he nudged her arm
“Don’t lie…What did she say?”
“She said…That she was adverse to the idea…Of maybe going for more than coffee…” Sachiko’s face beamed brightly her eyes sparkling and Nino gave a laugh
“You saucy minx…You didn’t stay over with Aarin did you? Argh…I can’t believe that you lied to…Me… Tell me everything…Now…” He said and Sachiko’s cheeks went a deep red but her voice was breathlessly excited when she told him
“Nothing much happened we went to a club a real nice place and then she let me sleep on her sofa…After we kissed…”
“Geez…So…You get with a teacher while I fall to sleep in my chair worried that Jun’s going to choke on his own vomit?” Nino half moaned, he was more than happy with his progress with Jun more so with the fact that he now had his number programmed into his phone
“Yeah…We’re going on a real date next week…” Sachiko told him and Nino sighed pushing his hair out of his face and giving a scowling smile asking
“Cow…So…Why did you need my help?”
“I didn’t, I just felt like bragging…” She said jumping to her feet and flashing him a happy grin completely ignoring the glare that Nino shot her. She gave a happy giggle and Nino couldn’t help but wish his Lucy every kind of happiness, he knew better than anyone that she deserved it he would have been happier if she had decided to tell him all this in the morning.
After she had slunk out of the room like a cat Nino flopped back down onto the bed once more and breathed in deeply catching the faint scent of Jun in the back of his nostrils hoping that things would progress even further with him tomorrow.

When the two friends walked into the class the next morning the first thing that Nino noticed was that Maria was already there wiping the board before writing something in bold strokes. She turned and smiled at them her tropical blue eyes flashing as she looked at Sachiko. The second thing was that he felt a pair of eyes boring into the back of his head. He turned and flashed a smile when he caught Jun looking with an almost embarrassed look on his face. Next to him Pixie had a magazine open and was chattering away completely oblivious to the fact that Jun wasn’t listening to her. Nino released Sachiko’s arm and walked over to them noticing that Jun’s eyes were trying to him something. His own eyes flicked to the statue of Eros and noticed, hidden in the space behind the stand and the wall was a grey scrap of paper. He gave a smile a happy coiling in the depths of his stomach
“Hey Pixie, hey Jun”
“Hello…Hey Nino-chan…What do you think of this?” Pixie said holding up the magazine and pointing at a denim top and a stripy skirt
“I…Its cute…But I think you should talk to Sachi she’s the one with the eye…” He answered flashing her, his best charming smile and Pixie nodded with a hum
“I think I’ll go now! Play nice Jun-kun!” She said jumping up and running over to Sachiko.
“I’m surprised…” Jun muttered and Nino lifted an eye brow his smile turning into a smirk
“Hey just ‘cause I’m from Narnia doesn’t mean I know anything about clothes…” He shrugged plonking himself of the desk and staring at him “How are you?”
“Fine…No Headache…” Jun answered and Nino rolled his eyes kicking out his legs glad that there was hardly anyone else in the classroom.
“Do you want to go for a muffin after class?” He asked “It doesn’t have to be just the two of us…”
“No…I...Um…Yeah…Just the two of us…” Jun nodded and Nino gave a happy smile his heart thumping a little his breath catching with the excitement that had rippled through him
“I’ll meet you outside after…” He said, knowing that his voice sounded croaky, jumping down from the desk and walking over to the statue as Pixie came running over to them an excited look on her face
“Sachi said that I should buy it!”
“That’s great…I bet you’ll look real cute, Pixie…” Nino said sliding his fingers in the slight gap and cursing his small hands as the tips only just grazed the paper. A few seconds of struggling later he managed to get all the way in and pulled out the folded piece of paper. “I better get to my seat before Miss White say’s something…See you later…” He muttered sticking it in his back pocket and giving them a mock salute.
“Yeah see you later, Nino-kun” Pixie said while Jun just gave a nod chewing on the lid of his pen his eyes fixed on the board.
“Why are you grinning like the wicked witch?” Sachiko asked when Nino flopped down beside her
“I think I just got a date…” He muttered pulling out the letter and very nearly cackling when he read the few words that were written ‘Thanks for taking care of me…
