A not so hopeless crush part 11

krystalkatzficzJun stared around the shop with a strange feeling collecting inside his chest. Never in his life would he have imagined that he would be standing in a Lolita store with Ninomiya Kazunari looking for a dress that he could get Nino to wear. There was much pin and lace that he didn’t know where to look though he knew that it was anywhere but at the giggling assistants who had recognised them all. Nino had even posed for some pictures with them all holding up two fingers. The assistants were also dressed in matching baby blue and pink dresses which Nino called twinning.
“I told them that we were here for research for a Shiyagare episode…” Sho told him and Jun hoped that they would buy that though there would be questions when the episode never came to pass “I think that we could get Nino on the show at some point in the future…”
“Is Masaki pulling the strings again?”
“Of course he is…But you know that all care about you right?” Sho hummed softly and Jun rolled his eyes a little bit as colour heightened in his cheeks. He knew why they were so worried about him. He hadn’t dated anyone since they had just started out because the last guy that he had been interested in had almost ruined them. He had taken intimate photos of them and he had been prepared to flash them around. It had taken the company a lot to buy them and to silence him. Rumours had been circulated about his girlfriend’s every couple of years or so just to maintain an image of him being interested in girls. Since then he had had no social life whatsoever even with Masaki’s coaxing. When they had found out about Nino they had all celebrated and now they were out to make sure that he didn’t screw it up.
“I know…Thanks Mama…” Jun smiled before looking over at Nino who was looking up at a flowery cream rose dress that almost matched the one from the article but didn’t have the panel down the front “I’m going to go and see what Nino is doing…”
“I think he’s trying to convince Masaki into a dress…” Sho chuckled looking over to the pair and Jun let out a laugh of his own humming a little;
“He’d look good…”
“Maybe but I like him looking like a man…I mean I have nothing against Nino and the clothes he wears but it’s not really my thing…You know? I mean…Urghn that sounded bad…” Sho flustered and Jun gave a laugh of his own and squeezed his hand in understanding before heading off to Nino deciding that he didn’t want to waste the time that they had together unexpected as it was. He walked carefully through the shop, passed the giggling shop assistants and then to Nino. Making sure that nobody could see he placed his hand on the small of his back and then leaned in close to his ear.
“You’d look great in that…But I was thinking more of that one…” He whispered turning him around slightly to look at the dress that was on the mannequin in the far corner. It wasn’t quite the pattern he had imagined but it had the flared sleeves and the panel down the front with dark pink ribbons on the breast plate. Roses decorated the over dress and on the lace.
“It’s a very soft colour…I might end up looking a little washed…” Nino admitted looking thoughtful as he headed towards the dress chewing on the inside of his cheek. “It is pretty though and with the right petticoat underneath it would look completely dramatic! If I got a blonde wig and some hair pieces as well…”
“Don’t the dresses ever make your tricks hard?” He asked and Nino gave a little shrug and a shake of his head.
“Not really…I mean…I have to make allowances for the dresses when I design the tricks…If I’m not careful it could become trapped in the mechanisms and then I could get trapped inside and it wouldn’t be pretty…” Nino answered fingering the sleeves of the dress a little more before ginning. “Thankfully most of my tricks is more mentalist than death defying…”
“You’ve done some though…” Jun pointed out remembering some of the more hair raising tricks that Nino had done. Some could have gone terribly wrong but Nino never seemed to be troubled by that and even now he grinned and gave a wink that did things to his groin that he had never believed possible from just a look.
“Yeah but where would the fun be if I didn’t? I’m going to get the dress…Um then would you like to come back to mine?”
“Yeah…Thanks I would like that…”
