“Excuse me?” Nino hissed his eyes flying over to the idol who looked like he was about to faint. He knew the feel quite well as his own heart was pounding roughly against his ribs and his mouth felt dry and almost itchy. A part of him wanted to think that this was a joke but that didn’t seem to be the case and he was aware of how much time seemed to be stretching out. “…Is this a joke?”

“…What? No! I…I…We…I mean…I like…Like you and I thought that maybe you liked me…” Jun said with an ‘uncoolness’ that Nino would never have expected from him. His heart continued to pound against his ribs and there was a loud buzzing in his ears which he always associated with nerves and he wished that he was in one of his dresses but he found himself nodding slowly licking nervously at his lips.

“Okay…Why not…? I mean we could try it…But…Before that…You know that I am male right?” He said thinking of the guys that had thought that he was female and that it was all just a gimmick. He hated the way that they had blamed him for tricking them even if it was their fault. He’d said he was anything but what he was. “I’m not transitioning or anything like that…I just like wearing pretty dresses…”

“…I know…” Jun nodded his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down and Nino allowed his heart to relax as a breath that he didn’t realise that he was holding in escaped in a soft sigh. Goose pimples broke out over his arms as he discreetly tried to pinch himself to make that he wasn’t dreaming. “So…We…You’ll come on a date with me?”

“…I…I doubt that we could actually go out on a date but…Yeah…I think that I would like to try dating you…” Nino nodded knowing that he would more than like it but he was trying hard to play things cool today knowing that he had pretty much made a fool out of himself when they had first met. He could still remember the feeling of being held in Jun’s arms like he was a Disney princess and he had loved it. A brisk knock sounded sharply on his door and he sighed slowly rolling his eyes as he recognised it as being his sister/manager. To this day he didn’t know what he had been on when he had agreed to make her his manager but he had half expected the agency to say no but they hadn’t even if they had more control over him than they had other acts in their group. “My manager…” He mouthed to Jun before the door burst open without an apology or a greeting and his sister, Aiko, who was dressed in a three-part skirt suit came bouncing in saying;

“Come on lazy bum…You have to get to your next appointment…”

“What is the point of you knocking?” Nino growled when the older woman stopped dead her eyes widening with surprise as her ruby red lips parted in a gasp as she saw Jun standing beside him. He knew that he was coming off as rude but having a manager who was also your sister made things awkward in his opinion. “Matsumoto-san…May I introduce my manager…”

“And sister…” The woman piped up recovering from her shock to smile winningly at him. “Ninomiya Aiko…I didn’t know you knew Jun-kun…”

“I worked with him a month ago…He saw I was in the building and came to greet me…” Nino said with a smile in Jun’s direction and the idol seemed to have recovered from his shock and was smiling with all of the charm that he had been expecting him to have from the shows and movies that he had seen him in.

“Pleased to meet you…” Jun with a quick but polite bow and Aiko let her eyes roam around his face for a little while before she hummed slowly inclining her head;

“Hmm…And you thank-you for you save of my brother…”

“My pleasure…I should head back to my own dressing room now…Nino…It was nice to see you again…You’re working with Masaki again tomorrow right? Please take care of him…He’s an idiot but we need him…” Jun asked and Nino nodded remembering that Masaki had some promotion to do and was coming onto his show. He had had fun thinking up all the tricks that he was going to do on him. He imagined or hoped that Jun was mentioning it in a way of passing a message on to him. He at least hoped that he would get his phone number from the other idol.
